“May sound minor but the fact that when we booked in late at night, the key was in the safe box at the office and the room had milk and biscuits was great. Nice room as well.”
“You get what you pay for. I did not expect the resort to be in such disrepair and to be so noisy. The traffic from the highway is constant and you hear every plane take off. The on site secure parking is very tight and it is difficult to manoeuvre a big vehicle around. Next time I will do more research and pay more money for a more comfortable and quiet location.”
“The property was close to fast food outlets. Bridge road has eateries down the opposite side of the motel. Hostess was friendly and supportive. The room was quiet and there was no noise from the road.”

All our guys were very pleased - so it's definitely a motel I'd highly recommend. When we're in Mackay next we'll be back to Shakespeare Motel for sure. ”
“We had a large spacious suite with an extensive balcony area. The staff were very nice and an issue with a tripped fuse was fixed quickly. However over the six nights the room was serviced once and we had to ask for supplies.”
