“Such a perfect memory-making home on the water! It’s always an adventure with two little kids but we found that this home had everything we needed, as well as amenities conveniently nearby for food or anything we forgot to bring with us. Water was calm enough most days for our 6 year old to paddle around, the dock is a lovely spot for a picnic, and all around we had a wonderful stay. Thank you!”

“Very accommodating, comfy beds (a real +). Kitchen fully loaded with supplies (including spices and condiments). We spent so much time down on the dock crabbing and fishing. Our dogs loved the freedom and space. Made friends with others in the area and did dog walks with them.”

“Beautiful! The home was very clean, and fully stocked with everything you'd need during your stay. Had a lot of fun visiting the nearby towns--definitely had the small-town atmosphere. The cell phone service presented a challenge though. The three of us whose carrier was Verizon had no problem at all, but the other party who had another carrier was unable to get a connection unless we went closer to town. Something to consider. Also, we were unable to get local channels/cable on the TV. Used……

“Gorgeous location on the Great Wicomico!! Beautiful home with both a rustic feel and lovely modern additions. We brought our boat and the cove on Cole’s Creek was well protected with deep water. Property grounds were so nice, lots of space, and gorgeous view! The owner was super supportive and very helpful with recommendations in the area. Highly recommend!!”

“Memorial Day weekend my family and I wanted to get away and recharge. We have four children ranging from 16 - 6 y/o and 2 dogs. This rental property was perfect for us! When we were not at Hughlett Point Beach or Compass Entertainment Center, the children enjoyed the garage with darts, foosball and basketball. We be played games at night and enjoyed the morning sun out back. My husband and I were able to walk our dogs with ease and got to explore the neighborhood. I would recommend this property……

“This property was so clean, the views out the windows were spectacular, and the water is right there! I greatly enjoyed the kayak and my dog just loved the privacy he had to play in the water. The host was extremely quick to respond and was one of the nicest hosts we've ever had. Highly recommend this spot and we can't wait to return!”

“Very comfortable historic house with quality updates that do no damage to that ambiance. Well furnished and decorated. Quite sizeable interior with front and rear porches. Fully outfited with any utensils and appliances you'll need. Exceptionally groomed grounds with lush vegetation. Highly recommend.”

“We had a great stay. At one point he heat went out and we were out for the day and they had the issue fixed before we returned how. The home was very nice and the extra space was very relaxing. Our stay was extended with no problem. We would defiantly stay here again when in the area.”

“We were sold on the rental because of its size, location, and pet friendliness. The hosts provided an immaculate, spacious, and attractive rental, complete with bedding and towels. The kitchen had all the necessities, including lots of flatware, mugs, glasses, plates, pots and pans. Dishwasher, coffee maker and Keurig were also provided. Full clothes washer and dryer made it possible for us to do our laundry and pack it clean for home. Home is nestled overlooking the river. Expansive windows……

Sadly it was a drizzly, dreary weekend but we had one nice day to go down to the beach and the kids enjoyed playing in the water. We loved the variety of porches to sit on and have different views and there was plenty of room for the kids to play indoors when it was raining. Overall a great experience. Thank you!”

“The home was exactly as described. Just pack a bag and everything else is there. Fully equipped property in a quiet location. The only thing I will add is the master bed was smaller than desired, otherwise everything was perfect! We would love to return at another time when the temps are warmer.”
