Summary:
Enjoy a slice of beachfront paradise in popular Opossum Bay, comfortably hosting up to 8 guests and offering the ideal setting for reuniting with family or friends. Perched literally above the beach, the house has a main pavilion and a private bedroom bungalow only metres from the water where guests will wake up to the gentle ebb and flow of the tide below. An easy and convenient 40 minute drive from Hobart promising a truly blissful and invigorating escape.
The Space:
Unwind in this incredible location featuring a modern open-plan layout with large windows flooding the space in natural light, taking in the magical ocean views from every angle. The main living area is furnished for relaxation, including a comfortable seating and dining area.
The kitchen is equipped with all of the appliances you may need during your stay and ample counter space invites culinary adventures while you enjoy the seascape right in your front yard. The dining area opens onto a private deck, where you can cook dinner on the BBQ and dine al fresco as the sun goes down over Mt Wellington/Kunanyi in the distance.
The house has four well-appointed bedrooms, ensuring a comfortable nights sleep for up to 8 guests. The bedrooms provide a variety of bedding configurations to suit every group's needs, including a private bungalow just a few steps from the beach below. Please note the bungalow is completely separate to the main house and does not have it's own bathroom facilities - guests will need to go to the main house.
The property is perched above beautiful Glenvar Beach where guests can enjoy the sun, take leisurely walks along the pristine shoreline or swim in the crystal-clear waters. Regular visits from local seals and dolphins is not uncommon.
