Incredible home and views

Spacious and well appointed home with incredible views. Perfect for families and larger groups with activities for all ages. Peta-Jane was an incredible host who was welcoming and did all she could to make it an amazing holiday. Definitely would book again

Comfort style and luxury in Tasmania close to Hobart

Beautiful well appointed home with great views of the River, immaculately maintained with all the comforts of home. Spacious bedrooms and a gourmet kitchen allow for beautiful memories to be made.Short drive to Hobart and all the area has to offer. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience the best of Hobart /Tasmania while having access to all the areas amenities without being in the middle of the coty. Expansive attractive home great location

We took three generations of family and spouses spread across 5 bedrooms and two floors for a milestone birthday celebration. Our small children delighted in the orchard, trampoline, gardens and toys and books provided. Grown ups enjoyed the many rooms and outdoor spaces with aspect to the beautiful garden and, of course, the river. The house is very well fitted out and comfortable. A second bike would be a useful addition so a couple could ride along the river.

This is a dream house!

“This is a dream house! Immaculate, comfortable and full of light. It was an absolute privilege to be there. Stunning view of the Derwent River (your back yard) and of Mt Wellington. The house provides numerous spaces in which to meet and also to retreat! There is veranda facing the river which is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day - I could go on and on! I will be back, but next time with a removalist van because I will be unpacking my house in order to move into this one!”

Fantastic (huge) house - with great views.

We had a great stay in lindisfarne - the house is absolutely huge and the gardens and grounds were bigger again. Amazing views and very private. Would thoroughly recommend!!

Very special property

Myself and some friends stayed during a visit to Hobart. The property is very unique and highly recommended. The checkin process and contact from Peta-Jane was first rate. We will be returning!

Gorgeous property

We had my daughters wedding in Tassy and this property was perfect for the morning of and the photoshoot. Stunning grounds and impeccable house. Our stay was nothing short of perfect!

A real Gem

What a wonderful home with everything you could ever need for a home away from home experience. Spacious and every comfort you could need with unbelievable views. Peta-Jane couldn’t have been more welcoming with her easy going flexible communication approach. We would definitely recommend Derwent River villa to anyone looking for a home from home stay.
