Check in was alright; the lobby was in kind of a state of distress and closed so we had to use the little check-in window...ugh. Clean & well maintained with an operating clean swimming pool - yay!! Door key cards - dont always work too well amywhere on planet motel...so no ding there. Nice staff (family-ish motel) and friendly and helpful. Close to downtown; but you cant walk there - well you could if you had time. Mex restaurant across the street and theres a also groceries and other shopping opportunities in the same area. Overall we'd give ui a thumbs up for the money. Opp is a nice little town - we'd go there again.

The room was comfortable but not so much the bed. Disappointed in the bed and difficult to sleep on. Also very difficult to talk with anyone in the office. Wouldn’t answer the phone and couldn’t find anyone in the office when we needed to talk to them. We just needed a place to sleep and this was adequate.

With very limted & really no choices of places to stay in this small community, this was our only option. In any other circumstance, I would not have chose this motel but thats only my opinion. On a positive ending, Its close to main highway, close to stores& restaurants.

The only thing that I did not like is that they are not doing breakfast anymore, they say because of the pandemic ,but I have stayed at other hotels and they are doing breakfast.

Although the place looked a bit dingy and run down when I first pulled in the room was clean and comfortable. Due to Covid they weren’t serving breakfast or anything like that, but that was ok for us. I would stay here again if I am ever in the area.

A 8.6 rating was a joke. The outside was badly in need of renovation. The room was not bad. It was a 6 at best. There was no coffee machine in the room. I’m sorry, Covid is no excuse. We didn’t care about no breakfast but it should say on the details list.

Stay here!!!
Stay here!! Very clean, check in lady was very nice & price was great!!!!! & we walked on Morgan Street & the street where Birdsong Peanut factory was & seemed safe!! Room was modernized & even liked the art!!! The carpet was clean -- passed the bare foot test!! Furniture was nice!!! All in all - very nice. Did I mention it is very clean?? Thanks, we can only hope all the rest of our trip is as nice!!!

Reasonably Priced
The Executive Inn is a little dated but reasonably priced. A great place to stay if you are passing through or in the Opp area for a short period of time. The staff is always friendly and respond quickly to any questions or concerns during your stay.

OPP Tonight?
Main problem we had is the Cable TV was not working correctly. Only four channels (none interesting to watch). Otherwise, a nice and clean facility. No breakfast or coffee!
