302 Sunswept 2/2* Directly on the Beach with Perfect Gulf Front View

Sunswept 302 is an inviting 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo that is located on the sugar-
white sands of Orange Beach. This third-floor oasis offers space for sleeping 6 guests
with two bedrooms. A master bedroom with a king size bed and a guest room with a
queen size bed. Both bedrooms will provide a very relaxed space to unwind at the end
of a fun filled day in the sun. Additional sleeping space is available on the pull-out sofa
bed in the living room.

Speaking of the living room, here you will find a cozy space for family time or much
needed quiet time. Step out of the living room onto a private balcony that overlooks the
beautiful sparkling waters of the Gulf. Imagine drinking that first morning cup of coffee or
tea from the balcony while enjoying the sounds of the beach waking to a new day. And
then in the evening, you can sit and relax to the gentle sounds of the waves lapping the
shore.

You will also find at your disposal a fully equipped kitchen that will allow you to easily
prepare everything from breakfast to dinner. If you want a break from cooking, delicious
choices for dining are a short distance away at the Warf. Not only will you enjoy the
dining options which include fresh, local seafood, but you can do a little shopping as
well.

The primary renter must be 25 years of age or older. This is a non-smoking
vacation rental and no pets are permitted. 1 parking pass is permitted for 1
bedroom vacation rentals, 2+ bedroom vacation rentals are allowed 2 passes.
Check-in time is 4pm and checkout time is 10am

The condo is really dated and not maintained well. The primary bed has a super firm mattress. The tree outside is directly in front of the balcony and obstructs a clear view of the beach. Personally I wouldn’t want to host anyone in the condo if I lived there, much less charge anyone to stay there.

Extremely dirty; uncomfortable beds

This unit is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and renovations. The floor was just gross. There is a lot of rotten wood around the floors and window. The windowsill looks like it has some type of gross mold growing in it. The beds are very hard, and the frame moves a lot, knocking the headboard against the wall when you turn over. There are really odd pictures just stuck randomly on the walls. This unit just doesn’t seem like it was maintained or renovated since built. My son and I actually left a day early, even though we had paid, because the unit was so dirty and the beds were so uncomfortable. The office staff was very nice, though.

Need MAJOR UPDATES

The property needs major updates. The furniture that is pictured is not what is I the unit. The unit was very dirty The floors were gross He balcony was disgusting. Has not been cleaned in what appears to be years. Most of the outlets do not work. The master bathroom tub water ran the whole time. Some of the lamps did not work. There are nails in the wall that do not have anything hanging in them I told the manager but the did not fix it. The location is great! Then pool was nice and the beach was not horribly crowded

Great spot

We loved staying here! It was just what we needed for a few days away for a girls getaway. The only issue we ran into was the door and how to get it locked - but once we figured it out it was all good. It may be helpful to put that info into the welcome packet so the maintenance team doesn’t get as many calls. Overall it was a great condo and we would definitely re-book!

Will be back

Renting the property was a breeze. Due to house issues we had to add 2 days to our stay. This process was extremely smoooth and easy. Beds were a little uncomfortable but we got used to them. The exhaust fan in the guest bathroom didnt work. Be careful with the balcony door its almost too easy to open. Kitchen was stocked well only missing a spatula and a small funnel to drain cooking oil. We have thought about renting this condo for coming years. It is sooo close to the beach. Wish the pool was heated on those cool days but most of the time spent on the beach and the patio. All the necessary shopping just across the street. Walmart publix mexican food and ice cream!!!

Perfect location but dirty.

Per the listing you can tell it is a dated condo (which I was ok with) but there is no reason for it to be filthy. Our feet were black from walking on floors the first night. I had to go purchase bleach wipes to clean when I got there. Our washer broke on the second day and never got repaired. Water every where! We however did enjoy our stay as we were busy at the pool or beach most the time. I highly recommend a deep clean.

Cleanliness

The location was great, right on the beach. Unit is well worn and needs better up keep. Folding doors off track and dirty. Return air vent with dust from many months. Tile floors in good shape with exception that need a good mopping to remove dirt and stains. Dining room chairs and their pads were with visible loose dirt and food crumbs. No big deal, but balcony door lock not working. Expandable toilet roll holder too short for holder. Hallway toilet needs minor repair so the flush handle arm will return to proper position to shut off water to the tank. Dishwasher does not clean dishes well and the drying cycle does not heat up to dry dishes. The front door in bad need for restoration with new paint to cover the peeled paint spots and the seal on the bottom of the door needs replaced. An early Sunday morning storm blew debris under the door into the kitchen. Otherwise the other newer toilet worked fine, as did the stove, oven, toaster, refrigerator (nonworking ice maker), showers, coffee maker. Would not stay in 302 again until after maintainance and good cleaning completed.

Housekeeping did not knock before entering property.

Not only did the 2 parking passes NOT get included in the after hours check in process in the envelope with my name in the office lockbox but did include the overflow parking locations and to have the hassle with Security leaving notes on vehicles threatening towing or booting even AFTER CALLING after hours number, leaving message for maintenance, on call guy calling and questioning and doubting my word that I did not get parking passes and he finally called someone else and 30 minutes later, calling and instructing to write on piece of paper, the reservation number, the unit number and check out date. AFTER we did ALLof this, we still received red warning of threatening towing from security. THEN on the day of checkout at 9:18, without knocking housekeeping used their key and just came on into unit, I was standing right there at the entry way in the kitchen. She apologized, but that is irrelevant. I was already doubting and questioning the security of the locks and door as my daughter and grandsons did not have our spouses with us as they had to work. The bathroom door did not lock and could be pushed open. The extension cords being used to hav e lighting because some of the outlets were not in working order. The unit is more than likely NOT UP TO CODE, electrical especially. but that is irrelevant. I will NEVER stay at this location and I am doubting staying anywhere that Coastal Properties manages, because if this is how they conduct business and allow these issues on their properties. I do not need to deal with it.

Could not use the balcony due to construction going on outside. I did not rent a view of the gulf on the beach to wake up to drilling and hammering everyday. The floors were nasty left your bottoms of your feet black . Base boards nasty. Queen bed shook when trying to lay down on it. Outdated furniture. Needs a lot of work..

Wonderful experience.

My family and I truly loved this great condo. Eating out everyday with a family in Orange beach is very pricey and this condo had everything we needed to prepare great meals. We bought plenty of local seafood and cooked up some great food in the hotel room. Great size rooms,great dining area, big rooms with all the commodities, having a private bathroom was a great plus, the kids loved the pool and most importantly the place was clean and well prepared for us. My only criticism is that it could totally use a touch up paint job and an upgrade in the TV. Dish network is horrific and it didn’t work most of the time. The view is spectacular, watching the sunset on the balcony was a real treat. The location was perfectly centered to everything. I truly loved room 302 and I will definitely come back hopefully next fall to enjoy more of the gulf. Thank you to the owners and the accommodating staff at the SunSwept for being good to us. God bless.

Amazing!

The property was in a great location. Security on site during the night which was great. The room was nice and beds slept well. The sun shines bright in the master bedroom in the morning. Other than that, the room was in good condition, cleanliness was fair, I loved the keyless door entry. Of course the beach was amazing!

Poor location

Located in a very busy spot in Orange Beach, directly next to a public beach access. Only because of recent damage from hurricane, we were thankfully not crowded on the beach. Multiple condos surrounding us were not open due to damage which allowed us to not be crowded on the beach. The building is old and appears that way on inside and out. We did enjoy the balcony. The pool was nice and the walk to the beach was not difficult. I knew the price was on the cheap end in comparison to others so maybe we got what we paid for :(
