  • **The Lazy River and Slide will be closed from October 20th to November 20th for repairs. From November 23rd to December 23rd the Outdoor pool and kiddie pool will be closed**

    Phoenix West 2009



    Phoenix West is one of the most luxurious condominiums on the Gulf! You can enjoy a spectacular view of the Gulf from the balcony or through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and each bedroom. With over 2,600 sq ft the unit is very spacious and has the best views in Orange Beach!!



    The unit is professional decorated with full-size stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, wet bar with ice maker, 60” flat screen HDTV in living room with flat panel TVs in the bedrooms, laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a King sized bed, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th bedrooms each have queen sized beds and there is also a sleeper sofa Queen in the living room should you need more space for occupancy up to 10.



    There is a lazy river, water slide, outdoor pool with a fenced-in kiddy pool, heated in-door swimming pool, two Jacuzzi's, state-of-the-art fitness center, 4 saunas and roof-top tennis courts.



    There is a 25 year old minimum age limit to reserve the unit which will be enforced with no refund for violation.



    Parking: Parking pass(es) must be purchased online from Phoenix West, they are a one time fee of $70 per vehicle. You will receive a Registration Email from Vacation Rental Parking Solutions before arrival that will include a link to register your vehicle and purchase your parking pass(es). Any 4br unit you rent at Phoenix West guarantees you can purchase up to THREE parking passes, the front desk will sell you additional passes based on the occupancy of the complex during your stay but do not expect to be able to purchase an extra pass during the summer season.

Great place, great condo, lazy river adds to the vacation. Only negative is 1 of the pool attendants has a power trip and likes to close pools and confront people. Overall loved to!

Fantastic place to stay. Balcony views were amazing. We had everything we needed. I loved how each room had a great view of the water and the city. Beds were comfortable.

The Security Guard at the entrance was very polite. He greeted us and told us a little bit about the place and what to do next. The front desk clerk didnt share the same enthusiasm. No greeting, simply straight to the point. Some may like that.The condo was great. Very clean, very spacious. Loved the master bedroom shower, ice maker, and the wonderful view.There was a security guard on duty at the pool if needed. As well as other hotel staff that kept the lobby clean and assisted as needed. The beach was nice and clean. Not over crowded. Would definitely stay there again.

Location was perfect! It is close to restaurants, activities to do, and steps to the beach. The view was beautiful! Plenty of space for 6 adults and 3 kids!

Will be yearly experience

This was a perfect place for my family, plus my sisters family. Beautiful ocean view. Huge balcony great for sunrise and sunsets. My 9 yr olds first time at the beach and ready to go back.

Really nice condo. Had plenty of room for 9 people.The kitchen lacks decent pots and pans. Brought my own Keurig coffee pot so we could use pods. There was only a drip coffee pot available. Wish there had been 2 more balcony lounge chairs. Very large balcony. Wonderful view from the balcony. Great view of the dolphins in the water several times. Really enjoyed the lazy river. Would recommend this condo.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this stunning 4-bedroom oceanfront condo, and it exceeded every expectation. Beautiful Views

This unit - 2009 is a corner unit - the views are awesome. The balcony - due to the size - was one of the highlights of the trip - never spent that much time on a balcony - but you will in this unit. The size and quality of this unit - is difficult to find. The unit made the stay very enjoyable for everyone!!!!

Great space

This property was great. It was very clean and roomy. I did have an issue or two. First issue is with the king bedroom mattress. It is MUCH softer than my husband and I are accustomed to sleeping on each night. That’s a personal issue. Another would be the lack of an inside doormat or bedside rugs. This condo is located in a high rise on the beach. A place to wipe one’s shoes upon entering would be a GREAT help controlling sand indoors.

Excellent Location

I’ll start with the good. Excellent location, Lazy River, slide and pools were perfect for entertaining kids! The condo is enormous, we were 4 adults and 2 children and there was ample space for all. Balcony was spacious and the views were gorgeous. The bad. It was not very clean, the floors were the worse I’ve seen in any rental. I went out and bought a broom and a few cleaning supplies (none were available) for use. Beds were squeaky, but okay. Toaster, 1/2 worked. Washer & dryer need to be replaced, worked at about 50%. I suppose the question I ask myself is, would I do it again knowing all of this? Probably so, the good outweighed the bad by a long shot. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels too, I didn’t even know a product could be so poor!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The instructions for check in are not very clear. Yes, the instructions for the door code are great, but where to get the wristbands, parking and carts was very confusing. The unit was very nice but you could definitely see the wear and tear showing through. The ice machine in the refrigerator made ice but you couldn’t get it to dispense, the other ice machine needed cleaned as the ice machine said. The lazy river was not very lazy! If you could get a tube you were lucky. The amount of kids unsupervised swimming in the lazy river pushing into you, splashing you, running and screaming made it alittle hard to enjoy with our grandson and children.The elevators were a nightmare! Trying to get to the pool/beach and back to your room took forever. Want to go to dinner? Better add 20-30 minutes of elevator time. We have stayed in plenty of places but for the money this didn’t make the cut for us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo location, layout of the rooms and the balcony was wonderful. It was spacious with ocean views from every bedroom and a large balcony for our extended family to enjoy. Some furniture such as the couch was very worn and there was a broken dining chair and broken bar stool, however those did not affect the enjoyment of the space. Unfortunately the floor in the condo was not clean. We found on our first day if we were barefoot the bottom of our feet were brown from the dirty floor. I attempted to clean the floor with paper towels as the mop in the laundry room was too dirty to use. It is very unbelievable that not even extra garbage bags were provided to replace the garbage can after emptying our garbage. I have never before stayed at a rental where basic necessities were not provided, such as toilet paper, Kleenex, dish soap and dishwasher soap.
