「Book this house for your next stay in Charlottesville!! The house and property were absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and the hosts were so kind and communicative. The house was even better than the pictures. I stayed here with a group of 8, and there was plenty of room plus quite a bit extra. We had everything we needed to cook and do laundry, and we spent most of our time in the game room playing ping pong and out by the fire place on the porch. I wish this was my house! Highly recommend!! 」

「Hello! We always enjoy our annual stay at the Old Dam Cabin, but unfortunately this year the heating malfunctioned. The vents blew warm air the first night, but after all the snow and ice it began only blowing cold air even though it was set to 75°. We tried the emergency heat setting, but that did not seem to help either. By the morning of our final day, the thermostat said it was 58° inside. It was manageable, but just wanted y’all to know so it can be addressed for future guests. Thanks!」

「Such a nice place. The host was extra accommodating to us which we really appreciate. Beautiful modern but cozy spacious home. We had waffles every day, and enjoyed the hot tub. We would love to visit next year too! 」

「Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return. ...
