It's a charming, art deco hotel built just before WW2. Location in the centre of town is excellent although parking was limited. Luckily there was a free all day council park just close by. It would have been useful to know this information before we arrived. The restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed using the voucher we were given on arrival for a free drink and 10% off one of the meals.

Avoid. Our room, like many rooms there, overlooked the courtyard and there was music blaring out from 10am to 12:30am due to their late bar opening. Super noisy and very hard to sleep through it all. The room was also a bit tired and could do with a paint job and new tiles as there was mould and flaky tiles all over. But the noise is the risk of staying at a bar hotel, I guess.
