「I do not recommend anyone staying here. We booked for 4 nights because my mother in law was in a Portland hospital. Coming home from the hospital the second day, we opened the door and the house was on fire upstairs and the house was filled with smoke. I called 911 and the fire department quickly arrived. I called the owner and he arrived too. The fire was upstairs and the firemen told me it was very lucky we arrived when we did and that that probably saved the house from burning down. They...

「We found dog hair on the only two chairs that were in the room. I found a long human hair on one bed pillow, our slippers were full of dog hair from the floor, outside the door was dirty and spider webs everywhere. The bed was up against the wall making it difficult for the person close to the wall to get out of bed. No closet to hang our clothes. Sure wasn’t anything we expected, I booked for two nights but we only stayed one night. The host gave us a full refund which made it good for us.」

「Comfortable and clean」

「This was an excellent little apartment: clean, comfortable, well-equipped, problems and questions were answered promptly. The only problem was the noise level - the upstairs tenants are definitely an active family, ear plugs were provided for sleeping, etc. The difficulty we encountered was that full conversations could be heard clearly, which we had not expected. It was challenging to get our work done (we were there for work not vacation). Wearing earplugs all-day is not a viable option! But...

「Very convenient location to multiple restaurants and events. Clean unit and very comfortable bed. Kitchen had needed items to prepare meals. Only drawback was the dishwasher was not working and host didn’t have dish drying rack. Unexpected issue and we were able to make it work and the stay overall was great!」
