Lovely modern villa, pool was great and property was close to a shop and restaurants.I have Marked down the score because of poor communication from the owner, lack of aircon upstairs and cleanliness poor.The property is in need of some maintenance but we still enjoyed our stay. .

Just stayed at this gorgeous Villa had everything you needed 2 minutes walk to bars a restaurants ideal had one of the best burgers at mums tikka bar lovely breakfast at the orange bar only one down side the bbq was very rusty so could not use it so would highly recommend to be getting a new bbq cos we do like having bbqs for tea so that would be great if that could be sorted as we have booked again next year so thanks for the lovely stay

Lovely villa, disappointing ending

Had a 3 week stay here. A cleaner wasn't provided for the whole duration. There was no cleaning products at all. We had to go out and buy a mop & bucket, fairy liquid, cloths, bin bags we had to buy it all. The villa is lovely but there is a set of rules that says if the BBQ is dirty you're charged . We went to use it and it was dirty so we had to clean that too. The oven only has one shelf in it so if you cook you can only do enough to fit on that shelf. Looking through previous reviews we knew we needed to pack toilet roll and luckily we did as there was only enough for a week. Considering we paid over 5 thousand pounds for this stay it's not ideal. The water then got cut off through "non payment" so for 36 hours we had no toilet or showering facilities. The lady looking after this property for the owners said we would be entitled to a partial refund. We contacted the owners who agreed to a €400 refund.. after numerous emails and excuses we still have not had this and it has now been 3 months. She tried to make the water situation seem less bad by saying the cleaner needed an extra 3 hours clean due to dog hair. This is a dog friendly villa, they supplied no cleaner for 3 weeks and I paid for every cleaning item needed for me to keep this property clean. I washed all their towels and followed all instructions and felt like she was trying to justify the fact she never paid her water bill. The area and local businesses are lovely

Enjoyable 2nd stay - will no doubt be back again

We'd stayed here a year ago so knew what to expect; the villa is very comfy and didn't feel at all crowded with 5 of us this year. We had a lovely week's stay. Annick the keyholder was fantastic; very flexible with check-in and check-out, and super responsive. The kettle stopped working on our 2nd day and she very kindly dropped off a new one the very next day. The pool was lovely; it was unseasonably cool while we were there so needed the pool heating, which once I'd worked out how to switch on it got the pool to a pleasant temperature for the next day. There were a few loose/missing tiles, but not a problem for us. The pool water was well maintained, with a pool guy coming during our stay to add whatever needs adding. The water was clean, clear but didn't smell of chemicals, so all good as far as we were concerned. The main TV worked well; we used our own Netflix account and Chromecast with no problems at all. The WiFi is still slow (only about 5mbps - despite cheap fibre 300+mbps broadband being available at this location) but worked fine as long as we were only streaming video to one device. We didn't even try the cable boxes this year. We knew from last year not to expect many "essentials" like soap, dishwasher tablets etc, so had taken our own. There was one toilet roll in each toilet this time so enough to see us through to the shop opening on Monday. Beds were comfy, although could probably do with a few more pillows (there was only one pillow per person).

Phone numbet listed is not owners. Its a property manager. Waited over an for host on arrival. Host unresponsive to serious issues. Only one key and warned not to lose it. Told not to use heat on both floors at the same time. Bedrooms on all floors so who doesn't get the heat? We ended up using both with no problems. Just being cheap. No hot water our first 5 days. Staying a month only one set of sheets, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Hot water heater broken the entire stay. Shower lasted 3 minutes. Horrible. Owner never responded to my emails. VRBO did not assist us. Only called owner. Told us no hot water was not serious enough for VRBO to get involved. No BBQ as stated. One set of sheets for a month. No extra cleaning provided and I offered to pay. Pool heater was not turned on. Several lights not working. The one over the stairs not working was hazardous. Property manager was unpleasant to deal with. Told us owner did not respond to her. Owner offered a very unworthy small discount not even 10% and we are still waiting for it. With no hot water should pay for less than half This spoiled our entire trip in Spain.

Het is een mooie en grote woning. Alles was aanwezig maar hier en daar mag er al eens iets vernieuwd worden of vervangen. Er is een groot zwembad aanwezig waar we veel plezier beleefd hebben.

Wonderful Villa

A fabulous villa located in a quiet corner of the urbanisation. Check in was easy with the key holder meeting us at the property. The villa is very modern , with three good sized bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms and another bathroom. Light airy lounge with large sofa and TV, although no reception on the TV! Not a problem as there was YouTube and Netflix. Outside area is large with lots of seating , sun loungers and a large table. Pool was excellent, though not sure she we had to pay for pool heating as it was 35°! The villa is located near the bars and restaurant and supermarket. All are very reasonably priced. The Irish bar served good food and was probably the best choice. All in all, thoroughly recommend. A very pleasant peaceful relaxing place.

Lovely villa! Quiet location.. few mishaps..

The villa is lovely..Your close to a few bars and restaurants. My only down side.. is the bbq didnt work. So had to cook inside the whole time. We couldnt get a replacement. The pool wasnt cleaned for the first week, we hadnt been paying much attention until it was green! Then it couldnt be used for 2 days. A brick from the outside of house fell off and landed on my sons toe!! He honestly just brushed past it.. it was on a corner.. hes whole toe is black now. I feel like i spent the first week trying to find out whats going on with the bbq or pool.. which i dont wonna be doing on holiday. But the ladies i dealt with were lovely just couldnt seem to give me answers... The area is quite and remote.. which is great.

Lovely villa; would be 5* with a few easy corrections

We had a lovely week in Villa Maldiva, finally getting there after two failed attempts due to the pandemic. It's a very good size with decent beds, sleeping 6 in comfort. Plenty of sun loungers and garden chairs, a sizeable garden table and a large parasol. The pool is great; at 8m long it's perfect for a family and was better than having to share a community pool. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and crockery etc. The sofa in the living area was a decent size, and the main TV had Netflix built in so we were able to sign in with our account. We also took our chromecast so were able to watch other streaming services via that. Checking in and out was very easy; the keyholder was very responsive on Whatsapp. A few minor gripes that can be easily rectified for the future (and would result in a 5* review): - We arrived on a Sunday, when every shop in Spain was shut. There was one quarter of a roll of toilet paper in one toilet, none in the other too. We would expect a full roll in each as a bare minimum. We were lucky we had a relative who lived locally who was able to come to our rescue with some spare rolls. - A few other what I would call "essentials" were missing. No bin bag in the main kitchen bin, no soap anywhere and no washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets. These have been supplied at other vrbo properties we have stayed at. - There were only 2 pool towels supplied; again, our relatives came to the rescue. - The pool wasn't heated, despite confirming in advance that it was. As it turned out, the weather was warm the entire week, so the sun warmed the pool up well, but it was a bit chilly in the mornings. As we were mostly in the pool in the afternoons, we didn't follow this up with the owner or keyholder. - The wi-fi was pretty slow at only around 6Mbps. This was fine for streaming Netflix, but would struggle with two or more people streaming videos at the same time. - The advertised French cable TV was very basic, with only around 4 channels, mostly with lots of adverts on. No France 1/2/3/4 or "main" French TV channels - they were listed on the epg but marked with a $ next to them, indicating the premium subscription hadn't been paid. Again, not really a problem unless you want to watch French TV. It would have been nice to have been able to watch the French Open while we were there. Despite this minor gripes I would still recommend this villa and hope to return in the future.

Maison très agréable

Superbe séjour dans cette simptueuse villa au calme comme toujours de ce quartier. Seul bémol la connexion internet inexistante et c'est vraiment dommage pour une villa de ce standing. L accueil et le départ à été parfait merci pour tout à ces personnes généreuses et disponibles.

La casa está muy bien, pero con muchas deficiencias que enumero a continuación : Lo primero,la limpieza de la misma dejómucho que desear,uno de los baños sucios,mesas sucias,interruptores sucios…tuve que hace limpieza de todo ello nada más entrar. La terraza de las habitaciones con avisperos,por lo que tener abiertas las ventanas resulta arriesgado. El gresite del suelo de la piscina roto en varios sitios,por lo cual, mi hijo y yo, nos llevamos un buen corte en el pié. La encimera de la cocina llena de pequeñas hormigas continuamente,incluso dentro de los armarios de la cocina. En cuanto a la tele, no se puede ver ningún canal en español,además de que tampoco funciona el wifi,cosa que nos comentó la intermediaria que ya se sabía y era habitual,por lo que no pudimos ver tele en ningún momento,y pagamos el mismo precio que los que si pueden usarla. En definitiva,casa bonita pero mal cuidada.

La villa es espectacular, viajamos con cuatro niñas y estuvimos encantados toda la estancia. Solo un punto de mejora, no estaría mal conectar las televisiones a la antena española, la televisión por cable muy buena si eres francés. Solo hay que conectar los cables de antena (no había) y actualizar la TDT ya que de otra forma no se vería. No obstante nos vino muy bien estar sin tele 😜. Pero no es tan complicado y tener una tele en cada estancia sin poder usar… Pero sin duda nos quedamos con ganas de más. Muchas gracias por todo.

Es una casa espectacular, la hemos cuidado como si fuese nuestra, la única pega es q tienes que coger el coche para ir a las playas a 20 minutos. La casa tiene muy buenas calidades. Gracias Caroline por prestarnos esta casa, hemos quedado encantados y volveremos sin duda.
