「The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage.」

「The property was clean and as listed upon arrival. Our son loved having the water right up the the house and being able to fish. The house was well furnished, had extra blankets and adequate kitchen supplies. Any drawbacks were minor; limited food storage (pantry) space and limited local entertainment . 「My partner and I came to Bar Harbor to hike, bike the carriage roads, and have a comfortable clean place to rest each night. This property is perfect for travelers planning to be out and about most of their stay. Perfectly sized for two and has just what you need. Very helpful to have washer/dryer in site. You can grab laundry detergent from the gas station just down the street. Great communication. Very clean. Will definitely be back again.」

「Overall the trip was great the house was not bad, But the driveway is very rough on low riding vehicles. I also found it weird that during my stay the owner message to me to let me know he would be dropping off a snow plow at the house that day. I know it's their property and all it just felt weird as I paid thousands of dollars to be there.」

「We went kayaking and biking in Acadia National Park, but we enjoyed staying away from the tourist crowds on this property. It was a super cute house, on a gorgeous setting on a hill. And the town of Belfast has many options to eat and shop. Definitely coming back!!」

「We were continually charmed by the character and cheery touches in this cottage. Our family came to Maine to enjoy Acadia National Park, and though this house was a bit of a drive away, our family looked forward to returning to this sweet retreat.
