Welcome to Oakwater resort (the nearest 4 stars Resort from Disney) which is only 5 minutes drive from Disney World! It is also close to many other fine shops and restaurants. No traffic congestion! This resort is adjacent to an outdoor 24 hours Walmart super market( 2 minutes walking distance).
Our 1808 Sqft townhouse(The biggest unit of resort) has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms wth garage, the master suite with king bed and inside bathroom on 2nd floor,The 2nd bedroom and the 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds, The 4th bedroom is a curtain style room(queen bed) on downstairs.

Our sweet 1808 Sqft townhouse(The biggest unit of resort) offers:

-4 bedrooms ( 1 King master bedroom, 1 Queen on first floor, 4 twins in 2 bedrooms upstairs).
-3 bathrooms ( 2 full and 1 half)
-One 40' HDTV and three 32” TVs
-Free WiFi high speed Internet
-Screened rear patio faces to oakwater lake with amazing nature views
-Crib, high chair and a stroller
-Iron

The 4000sqft Oakwater clubhouse (just 200 feet away from our unit) features:

Quiet, family friendly, safe and conveniently located. This place is 10 minutes to Disney. The accommodations were great, clean and had all the necessary comforts during our stay including a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms and comfortable beds with tvs in every room. Will definitely be renting here again.

THE GOOD 1. GREAT LOCATION, right next to Walmart 2. POND out back had amazing fishing, kept me busy at the house when I got back from doing florida things. 3. I arrived a little early, place was ready and I was able to check in a tiny bit early. NOT BAD BUT OTHER 1. the place needs to be updated quite a bit. the t.v.s in every room were old(not a deal breaker) but 2 of the t.v.s in the rooms would not work i think the remotes were dead. So my children could not use them. The room downstairs none of the outlets worked in it at all. No matter what i did i couldn't get any of them to work. the dresser in the upstairs room was broke. ALL IN ALL i was satisfied and would stay there again hopefully if i do the issues will be fixed.

Wedding Convenience

Our family was in Orlando for our daughter's wedding at Disney. The location was SUPER convenient, no more than 15 minutes from the main Disney resorts. Being pet friendly was a big plus since we had to babysit my daughter's dog while the newlyweds went on their honeymoon. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in Orlando

The good and the bad...you decide

Overall I would give this rental an average rating, which could have easily been above average if the property had better oversight and inspection between renters. There were numerous problems that we encountered (functional and cleanliness related) which should have been found (and resolved) by the owner, property manager and/or cleaning personnel prior to our visit. Also, initial requests to resolve these problems were responded to promptly, but after a few were resolved, the remaining ones were not, and we were somewhat ghosted. In their defense, they did offer my wife and I a free day at another one of their properties, but since we were not interested in returning any time soon it was moot. In summary, the Pros of the property were nice condo community, lake views from condo, quiet at night, bed was comfortable, linens were clean and kitchen area was clean and functional. As for the Cons, there were around 15 functional problems (ie. things didn’t work or were missing) we encountered upon our arrival, including a Master bedroom window which they did not fix during our stay (locks broken and one window would not stay up). There is not enough room in this review for all that we encountered but it ranged from lack of cleanliness (eg. lanai was filthy when we arrived with cigarette butts stuffed in the electrical outlet, as well as in the uncleaned grill) to functional issues like the washing machine not working and broken handle in the lanai screen door, to name a few).

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location can't be beat! So conveniently located to the parks, restaurants, and Walmart is literally in the front yard! Love that it's a gated community! The host was super accommodating and very responsive! We would definitely stay here again!
