Wonderful Property in a beautiful Orchard with great views

The property sits inside an orchard . The owners were welcoming and accommodating. 4 rooms , 2 rooms are connected so perfect for two families with kids. The tub has jets which is awesome. Majestic views. I recommend brining your own drinking water , as the tap water is a little hard in this region .

Great house, great view and great service from owner

We have been here for three years when we come over. The house sits in an orchard over looking the hills with a deck and lots of widows over looking them. Insides were spacious and a wonderful kitchen and bedrooms. We had a family emergency and the owner was so helpful and went way out of his way to help. Thank you! A wonderful place to stay!

Great get away but issues with porperty mgmt

The place was wonderful, but the dishwasher did not work and trying to call vacasa got no respose. How to wash dishes by hand but other than that the house was great Vacasa would not call house cleaning to see if i left my hat there after the stay. I was disappointed after the money i spent. Great house.

Place was not clean, a lot of the things are broken. A/C in the sun room, dishwasher didn’t work at all. Bed in one of the rooms was making so much noise that it was impossible to sleep on. Far from the beach

Beautiful Home Poorly Maintained

This home is beautiful and the kitchen facilities are amazing and well stocked. Unfortunately, the home is poorly maintained. Fire detectors have reached the end of their life and chirp. Only half of the lights in the master bathroom were good, and all of the lights on the back porch were burned out. The grass was not mowed, the ice maker in the butlers pantry was inoperative, as was the air conditioner in the card room. There is no cable or satellite service so bring your FireStick if you want to watch anything. There is a stench in the laundry room and no covered or garage parking.

Beautiful high-end house in a tranquil apple orchard

The house is beautiful. Big comfortable bedrooms, "to die for" chef's kitchen, very comfortable living room, so many bathrooms, and situated in beautiful surroundings. We stayed for 3 nights, cooked great meals, used the BBQ, played boardgames on the big sturdy dining table (bring your own, they only have monopoly and other has-been games). There were a few issues which I communicated with the property manager about but which could not be solved quickly: (1) the kitchen is great but the knives, pots and pans are bargain-bin at Walmart twenty years ago quality. I brought a chef's knife with me and we used that for everything, and somehow got by with the horrible accessories in the kitchen (2) there's no guidebook to the house so we couldn't figure out how to get the convection oven going, the gas fireplace, nor really operate any of the TV's (only one has a remote). (3) The curtains in the bedrooms are pretty much transparent so prepare to wake up at 6am (I wrapped a shirt around my head). Although there were slight issues (which can and should be fixed) we really loved the place.

The home itself is definitely a higher end space, although it has been neglected inside and out. There was no welcome notebook to help with using the TV, ceiling fans (there were many)or notes on any of the nonworking kitchen appliances or AC in the sunroom. The kitchen space is good, although on our trip none of the dishwasher functions worked so we ended up washing everything by hand, despite a guy showing up to "fix" it- NOT. A good thing, as the dishes in the drawers and cabinets were not clean, pots and pans grimy. Sadly, we only had 4 thin kitchen towels, definitely not enough. For a vrbo that accepts pets, I expected the space to be extra clean after each guest use.This was not the case for our stay. In the main space there is a sign for guests to take off their shoes......so we did. Our feet were black with dirt and who knows what else because the main floor was never mopped clean, it was gross. There was dog hair on the carpets in the bedrooms and generous dust bunnies in the nooks and crannies inside the space. The laundry room was cluttered up with shelving of junk, the cabinets as well, and it smelled sour in there. An automatic reclining chair was in a stuck open position when we arrived. Why was that not taken care of before our stay? As it was, some guys finally came 3 days into our stay and removed it to the garage. So my experience rates this as a giant MEH.

Unique Home.....Not the gem you think from the Picture

This grand home has a very interesting layout, I'll give it that! Triangular shower and toilet rooms in the master were a hoot! Our stay was over 4 nights. Sadly, this home is run down a bit and needs TLC. The kitchen is not very well stocked with essentials that work, or are cheaply made castoffs, so if you want to take advantage of that gourmet stovetop, or want decent accessories, bring your own good knives,saran wrap, foil, and parchment paper, and any favorite small appliances (air fryer for one, good pans if you like to cook). The dishwasher did not work for us when there, even with someone coming out to "fix" it, it needed a real repairman out. We ended up washing all the dishes by hand. Good thing, since the dishes in the cupboards were grimy, and the utensils dirty as well so we prewashed what we used, and then kept going. There weren't enough kitchen towels, we only had 4 or 5 to work with. The home space is very cluttered up with stuff. Laundry room is musty smelling, and there is junk on open shelving that just shouldn't be there. AC in the sunroom did not work, or get fixed while there, but not a deal breaker since the home AC was fine. An automatic recliner was stuck in a reclined position when we got there, and it took 3 days for that to be removed into the garage. Why it wasn't removed prior to our stay is a mystery. Additionally, for a home that accepts pets as part of it's offering, the place was NOT clean. All of the open floor space in living room, hallway, kitchen etc was very dirty, so much so, our feet turned black the very first day we were in there. They ask for shoes off in the house, but that is a mistake! Who knows what we were stepping on with that floor. I had to send pictures to the VRBO team of our black feet for proof. No one came to clean it though, so we kept our shoes on from that point on. Pet hair was on carpeting in bedrooms, and bathrooms didn't even smell very good. I kind of expect to smell bleach or cleaner when I go to rentals, but never did in this home. Very disappointing to say the least. There are no usable grounds around the house, except one small patch of grass where we took our dogs to potty (yes, we cleaned up after them). The 20 acres of orchard are beautiful to look at, you just won't be taking a stroll among the trees, as the giant boulders surrounding the home prevent that! Maybe the next renters will get a cleaner space and encounter amenities that actually function from true repairs done to them. : /

The cover is not the book.

House looks amazing online and in person when you first get there, then the wheels start coming off. Dog friendly house with puncture vine around the front door, puppy paws filled with them within minutes. Dishwasher didn't work and mice in food left on the counter. Renter downstairs smokes under the windows and either doesn't let their pitbull dog out for extended periods of time so you can hear it whining from the master bedroom or runs it outside with a green laser pointer at 10pm so it's barking as it chases the light while they smoke. For the cost, go somewhere else until the house is taken care of and the renter downstairs is gone. Could be great but definitely falls short.

Great house. NOT CLEAN!

After cleaning tables and counters from hand smudges / glass stains, removing used bar soaps and clump of hair from the master shower, removing dog poop bag from the back porch and changing stained sheets on one of the beds, we had a good time!
