Nice place

The view is absolutely amazing and it was a great spot for the shoot out. The upstairs and downstairs are not connected to each other, just an FYI. No hand soap in any of the bathrooms and there were things broken within the house. Heat went out in the upstairs rooms, on one of the hottest days, which the property manager quickly resolved. Overall, the place was decent and we did have a blast. I would recommend others to stay here.

View of the Lake, but no access

Our family had a negative experience staying at this property. We had booked it with the understanding that there were six bedrooms and two days before our stay, we were contacted telling us that one bedroom was not available. We made it work, but upon arrival it was apparent that the bedroom was undergoing a remodel (looking through the windows it was torn down to the studs), which the hosts obviously knew about much sooner than our scheduled arrival. We made the reservation in January for a July stay and would have appreciated being notified much further in advance of our planned travel. In addition it wasn't clear from the description of the property, but there is no interior access between floors. Meaning that to get to the two bedrooms upstairs, you have to go outside from the main floor with the kitchen and walk around the house and go into a separate door to go upstairs to those two rooms. Similar situation for the rooms downstairs. My family would have made a different choice in a place to stay, had we known that ahead of time. Also while the view of the lake from the house is pretty, you have no way of getting to the lake directly from this property. The stairs down to the dock and the lake are blocked off and there are signs saying that the staircase is unsafe. Finally we encountered issues with multiple items in the kitchen not working. All of those issues were reported to the property management company, but not dealt with during our stay.
