Welcome to Tan Tar A resort that sets right next to Margaritaville.

Look no further, this property has is all!! Quaint cove location with main channel view in the exclusive "Estates" division on Tan Tar A resort. Large private dock with sundeck. Lakeside martini deck with firepit. You can fit a large group (up to 14) with 1 King bed, 4 Queen beds, 1 bunkbed set, a pullout sofa and 2 queen air mattresses. You will enjoy lake views from every bedroom with private decks, perfect for your morning coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day.

We have three homes in Tan Tar A so if you are planning a large get together or reunion we can help. Email us for more information.
This home is family owned and managed. We open our home to others that are looking to spend a great getaway at our favorite lake.

This house was perfect for our family — clean, with a beautiful view. We enjoyed nightly fires in the fire pit, did plenty of fishing, and took great family walks. Plus, the owners are clearly Chiefs fans, which made it even better!

The kitchen was fully equipped with all utensils we needed. The house was clean. The description was accurate. The dock was very nice. There are closer public accesses to the lake than the description said it may have costed more, but it would have saved sometime in gas overall would recommend and would stay again

The home has a perfect layout for a large group (10 in ours with no concerns for space). The location is prime for Lake of the Ozarks, amenities are close by. The host was very quick to reply and recommended Captain Bobs for boat rental and it did not disappoint. We had a great day boating with the entire family and the rental location is only a 20 minute boat ride from the property. There’s only room for 3 cars at the home and it was a very tight squeeze for 2 trucks and an SUV but was ok. There is additional parking at the resort, but unfortunately we were using all 3 cars most days. There were so many pros to staying at this home, with that being said, some deeper cleaning and minor repairs would go a long way in making the stay that much nicer. There are 55 stairs from the main floor to the dock, so keep that in mind if staying here with young children or adults with mobility problems. We had our mother who has minor mobility impairments and a 3 year old and the stairs were fine. Regardless of those few things, we would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome home on the water!!

Spacious, well-equipped home on the water. Although we were outside most of the time, the house gave everyone in our group plenty of privacy when we were inside. Kitchen had everything you would need. Great location with lots to do at the resort. Firepit area is a great place to hang out and having a dock to fish off of was a bonus too! Would definitely return!

Family trip to the lake

This home was a great place to stay while in Lake of the Ozarks. The location on the water was second to none, and the large pier with a swim ladder was used every day! The house is on a cove that doesn’t get much boat traffic but you can see the main lake which was cool. The house was clean, the kitchen well stocked, the bedrooms were large and the air conditioning was effective in the 95 degree weather. The host was good with communication which made our stay easier. Recommended.

Quiet and peaceful with lots of attractions close

The house was exactly as described. It was spacious for 7 people. The weather wasn’t as nice as we had hoped but it didn’t affect our relaxation or memories made at the house. It’s easy to find and in a good, central location for attractions at Margaritaville and Ozarks.

Very relaxing place

This house has all that shows in the pictures.Even though the bad weather (it was raining all the 5 days) my sons and I enjoyed of our time in this beautiful property. It is cozy and comfortable place with plenty of rooms for everyone. The coffee was "delicious".The yoga mats and blankets were the plus.We enjoyed of the beautiful of the lake and the surrounding areas even without leaving the house during the raining, thanks to the big windows.Close to stores and restaurants.Just beautiful!

Wonderful Time At the Lake!

We loved staying at this property. The size was perfect. We had some friends come in for the weekend. Then family came in Monday-Friday. My husband's uncle has a place on the lake and he and his wife were able to pick us up in their boat and take us for a ride and to lunch. One thing I would suggest is adding something to the checkout checklist, and that would be to make sure you log out of any streaming services you may have logged into on the TV. Thank you so much! We may be back next year!!!

Location was the highlight of our stay

Location is fantastic. Didn’t feel pics were accurate of actual conditions of the house. Communicated and sent pics to manager. After several communications I didn’t want to spend more time trying to justify how I felt about the property. I questioned the AC working and was assured it was in working order prior to booking. Not the case. Housekeeping definitely could use improvement. I won’t go on about the details.

Family Extended Weekend

This property was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 young children. Having the boat dock and swimming area was wonderful and the kids ready enjoyed their time there swimming and fishing. The main channel views are very nice for relaxation on the main level balcony deck, lots of seating for our family. Having access to the Margaritaville marina, restaurants and pools made it very convenient. Only issues that would need attention is one of the AC units in the lower level bedroom was making noises and smelled of smoke in the controls which we reported to the property manager, as well as the main level TV is missing the remote which made it difficult to turn on and off. Additionally, the shower curtains in the restrooms all need adjustment as they are not properly located and allow water outside, we had to keep towels on the floor to stop the water.
