- Better place to sit down for coffee at breakfast (now it is a bech ourside).
- The rooms' door lock system and the light switches are convoluted.
Strange that rooms are cleaned up every 3 days
The location was a 10 minute walk from DOTONBORI but still quiet and peaceful at night. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!
Great hotel! Very clean and nice helpful staff who speak English. They have free Pajamas to take and have light snacks, coffee, and tea for breakfast in the lobby. It’s a close walk to the Dotonbori street. One thing to note is that checkout is at 10am and checkin is at 4pm so plan accordingly.
AMAZING LOCATION! Literally only a few minutes from the dotonbori street, there’s lawsons and 7eleven nearby. Hotel doesnt offer breakfast, but there’s free coffee and bread every morning.
The property was as advertised. The rooms are large enough for two people with lots of luggage (it was our last stop before flying out). Staff are friendly, there is free bread and coffee for breakfast if you are up early enough. Location is good, close to Dontonburi and Shinsaibashi (good shopping and food). Also its an easy walk to Round One which was so much fun. Would stay again next time I visit Osaka :)
Front desk was not super friendly like other hotels we've been in Japan, but that is fine. Breakfast was a help yourself to wrapped pastries. Location was convenient to attractions. Room is nice. Not cramped. Reception/access to elevator is a bit narrow with crowded luggage and cleaning bags. Odd to have view partially obscured by a fuzzy film because the view was nice.

Convenient area of the hotel about 9 mins walk to the subway station and 10 mins walk to dotonbori. Not all their staff are friendly and welcoming. I like the free coffee, water and bread in the morning and conveniently was able to ship my luggage to our next destination.
Nice hotel, clean but very basic. Central location for exploring very near to Dotonbori street. The breakfast amenities were a nice touch with different pastries each day and juice and coffee. We stayed 5 nights and were told our room would get cleaned once in the middle of our stay which was written on our card, so we tidied up the room to find it hadn’t been done, then was cleaned the day before we left so a little pointless. Also only one lift, which was a bit annoying waiting for it, particularly in the mornings.
The front desk British guy was cute and friendly and very helpful. The hallway was sketchy and noisey doors next to us. The bed was ok. Asked for two beds... got one. Cool area to walk around
The location was great! The room was pretty decent size wise, we were able to fit 2 carry-ons and 2 large luggages and still have space. The bed on the other hand is smaller than the other three hotels we stayed at during the rest of our trip. Otherwise, its a decent hotel. We used luggage forwarding service from Tokyo to this hotel and the hotel received it well so that was a plus!
The bathroom smelt like sewage constantly and the shower curtain was slimy. Shower was also not adjustable and at two weird heights of either hitting you in the face or down way too low.
We had guests next to us that were really loud every night from around 12am- 4am.
Bed was also very small considering it was a double bed but didnt fit 2 people comfortably.
Staff were polite though :)
Lovely tidy room, free pastries and drinks provided for breakfast. Great location. 7/11 and a laundromat located very close. Was on the 8th floor but the street was still very loud at night. Still managed to get a great sleep in every morning.

Stayed for one night only, good enough
I booked a room without breakfast, but it turns out the hotel provides simple packed bread, coffee machine and canned juice, which is out of my expectation. The room is small, simple with basic amenities. Hygienic condition could improve. We just stayed for one night, so that’s fine.
Major construction outside your window at 7 in the morning. Loud guests slamming doors. Thin walls can hear the whole hotel. If you don't mind not sleeping then stay here

A warning to fellow travellers: The photos are far better than the reality. We were so disappointed that we checked out within an hour of arrival, sacrificing our booking to stay elsewhere.
If you are on super tight budget and in a short stay, this might work, but for us, it was a major mistake and not an environment we wanted to spend 7 nights in. Hence making an emergency booking elsewhere and leaving.
While in Dotonbori, it sits on a dingy side street near several brothels. The area felt sketchy. The lobby was disorganised, overflowing with unsecured suitcases from other guests that we had to navigate around to get to the desk.
Upon check-in, we were given only one key for two guests - another red flag for us. Then the locking mechanism for the rooms was frustratingly temperamental, as other guests have reported. This was highly stressful.
The room itself was dingy, tired, and cheap. It felt more like a hostel quality room, not the "vibe" shown online which presents the rooms to be much cosier. There was nothing cosy about the room.
Only one pillow per bed - another disappointment.
Corridors were dark, very narrow, and poorly lit. Added to the seediness of the hotel. There is only one elevator making access slow.
Remarkably, there is no housekeeping for towels; you must drop used ones in a hallway bag and head to reception yourself to get replacements.
We sadly ignored the low review count and took a risk that didn't pay off. Worst hotel I have ever booked.
