We are a family of 4 and find the hotel room quite small. Certainly smaller than what is seen on the photos. Room size aside, which is expected for Japanese hotel, we find the room lack many things. Cleanliness is lacking for Japanese standard. The floor is not well kept, and under the bed is very dirty/filthy, I don’t think it has been clean in a long time, lots of garbage, dirt, etc. The toilet room has this terrible odour that we can’t seem to get over, even asking the hotel staff to check it out and clean. We are a family of 4 and this room comes with 2 poorly maintain chairs and two camping chairs that are old and almost falling apart. The table is also old and the surface has discoloured and bubbled. We stayed at other Minn hotels and they are great, but this one is not. I do believe it needs a good deep clean (especially under the beds) and some new furniture.

4.5 star - exactly what we need. It is very close to the 3 or 4 train and subway stations we used. Can’t beat the location. We could even just wheel our suitcases to the Airport express train. If the washing machine has drying function as well, it would have been 4.9 stars. The initial self check-in was a bit of a problem - the system was glitchy and we could not complete the process without calling the remote help desk from the unmanned front desk.

Far from everything. Few restaurants are near by but they only accept cash. It's not close to subway/mall. It's about 12 mins walking. We rent the room for our family of 4 and there were only 2 chairs at the table. The toilet flushed itself randomly with false smell. I don't know if it's because of the building sceptic issue. Check-in at 3pm, out at 10 am is ridiculous and cheating.

Location is about 10-15 mins from Osaka Station. Good for individual or couple but could be tedious for family with small children to walk as there is some construction ongoing.

We booked a standard room. The size of the room was perfect and we had plenty of space for our stuff. The room was clean and we found everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathroom. The room also was quiet. Concerning the room we have nothing to criticise and we enjoyed our stay a lot and would come back again. But: Checking in was not a smooth process… We had to make various calls to learn about the place where to find the key box. And: we don’t like to find items from the persons who stayed there before.

They don’t have very cleanly to show customers how to check in and when we check out,the lady told us and leave 10:30am with no charge,but when i leave send the message to tell them we checked out 10:30am. They want me to pay the late check out charge. They’re conversation is not good.

Convenient location but unhelpful staff

The air conditioner and water heater in the room were not warm enough. We needed to put all of our jackets on the top of the blankets even we switched the room temperature to 32 degree. Also, we tried to contact the staff for towel changing during our stay so we used the tablet as they provided. The staff just hung up the phone without replying us and after then that we cannot phone back to them anymore. Besides, we had some enquires before arriving Minn. I waited the reply of their staff for more than 12 hours as the website stated they usually reply within one hour. This really delay my travel schedule and they do not provide any alternative suggestions if they do not provide the goods receiving service.

The location is quite far away from Umeda station. Super inconvenience. The setting of our room is such an ridiculous idea. They put two beds together in the middle of the room and leave a only 12-inches wide passage to the bathroom and the table. Meanwhile a tv with iron made stand was put in the middle of the passage. You have to step on it to pass through but it make noise. The tv cable is just laying in front of the bathroom door. The closest cannot be fully opened because the beds block it. The electronic door lock was malfunction when I returned at night. After I went into the room the alarm was on and non stop beeping. I went down to the entrance and tried to get help through Skype with the tablet but found that Skype was gone. It is not a nice experience to stay here.

The apartment itself is very nice and spacious. We were very disappointed from 2 things in particular, somehow connected: we arrived at 14:00 and they were inflexible with an early check in (official check in is at 15:00). He didn’t bother to check if the room was - maybe - already clean (how it happens all over the world in any hotel). But the worst is that combined with this, it’s not even allowed to leave any bags, as there is no storage room. These 2 points should be improved definitely in order to have a better check in experience. Connected to this, also for the check out, it should be possible to leave the bags for the day, since the check out is at 10AM. On the other hand the cloud check in idea is nice and advanced but you might improve giving direct contact with the agent in charge directly from the room, maybe putting a tablet in the room so that if you need help, you don’t need to get down on the first floor (and wait for others to check in, as there is only 1 iPad). You might consider also daily cleaning and maybe put some protection in the room as there are many sharp corners around the flat.

Warning!! Biogas from sewage .

I have no idea no one mention about the biogas from sewage. I cannot recommend this place to anyone as they have very strong biogas in the unit. They even have a sign beside the washing machine that said there will be biogas. Will come and go. I had this place for 8 days and suffered head ache and hardly got any sleep for 4 days. When the sun comes up , myself and my son just have to get out at night. And will suffer the whole night . It does comes and go , but if it does come , it is unbearable. Just imagine you are down at the sewage line . Now I think about it , I should have moved out and switch to another hotel ( unfortunately I am on a budget , so I cannot afford to do that ) . I felt like my family’s health has been permanently affected by breathing this biogas . They have to fix this issue or they should not list this place out at all . Is a health concern .

It was the first time I had such a bad experience while tying it up in my accommodation. First problem: Why don't you e-mail me the password in front of the accommodation? Who's sending it and who's not sending it and why? Everyone is panicking in front of the accommodation and can't come in. Second problem: It's an unmanned hotel, so check-in can't be so inconvenient even if there are no people. I found out after making a video call that I had to enter the QR and press VISTER at the bottom. There was no explanation notice to check-in easily, and I felt like I was solving a mystery. I hope you know that some people are not good at English. Third problem: I waited for 5 minutes because the password I taught you at first didn't fit, and even though I pressed it again, it didn't work, and I couldn't get into the changed password. I wondered if I pressed it wrong, so I tried it with others, checked it together, and pressed it. I don't understand why the system is like this. Fourth problem: No matter how much you turn it on, the heater is not warm. You have to sleep in your clothes. Fifth problem: Even if a drunkard rings a bell, he or she doesn't know the contact information to contact the hotel. Shouldn't there be at least hotel contact in the room? And in the e-mail reply, sometimes drunk people find the wrong room and ring the bell, did you deal with it like this every time? Sorry. The end? It's a total mess.
