I loved my stay here. The staff were so friendly and made me feel welcome as a tourist from Canada. It was close to a station. The breakfast options were okay, but that didn’t bother me. I would definitely stay here again! Affordable, and Very comfortable room.

Not so suitable for someone wanting to travel and see the city. It’s away from the most touristy of places, but it isn’t too far from Osaka castle. It was clean and comfortable.

Despite nice rooms, concrete beds

Lobby was nice, ice and water machines easy accessible. Breakfast was a nice selection of different kinds of onigiri and various pastries. I had trouble eating because I'm gluten free and most options had something fried and/or were bread but if you're not then breakfast is fine. The room itself was also nice. Spacious for Japan and the bathroom overhead shower was the best!! Unfortunately the bed was the worst bed I've ever slept on in my life. I'm not one to complain about bed softness because I can usually sleep anywhere in general. This felt like I was sleeping on a slab of concrete. We both woke up every morning with horribly sore backs and we're young people. If you have any sort of pre-existing back problems, save yourself pain and don't stay here. We were so happy to leave on the last day because that meant we didn't have to sleep on the bed anymore. It's a shame, because the room itself was really nice and so was the bathroom. If you're planning on walking from Sakuranomiya station like we did, it is a HIKE with all of your luggage. We noticed most people had other forms of transport when leaving the hotel and we were the only walkers that we could see at least. It's a long walk but not so bad when you're just going there but if you have to carry heavy bags, it is a pain.

When we arrived at the property they charged us an extra 4000 yen because I failed to put my wife on the reservation even though the room was a double bed that stated it slept 1-3 people. Breakfast was underwhelming unless you like soggy sushi

Fine stay

It was not the best choice considering places I intended to visit, but metro station was around 850 m from the hotel and Osaka loop line train around 1,6 km. Not my first time stsying in Toyoko Inn branch, so I knew what to expect from it and it was delivered.
