The hotel was wasn’t too bad. The rooms were clean, the staff at the reception was always available. It’s close to the city. I would come back again.

Great Family Apartment

Check in was smooth and apartment was comfortable for a family. Clean and within good walking distance to either transport links, restaurants and shops or even to the city. Only downside was the lack of plates and cutlery for a family but overall I would use again.

Close to Tøyen station - 10 min metro or 25 min walk to Oslo city centre. Easy check in and deposit refunded promptly. However, room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, poorly lit and very noisy neighbours (minimal sound proofing) and area felt unsafe - particularly at night.

Very clean and not far from the bus station. You check in by phone and it was a little bit difficult with the pronunciation, but it went smoothly anyway. The kitchen has not many things to cook with, barely the basics so if you're gonna cook a lot then it might be a problem. Big apartment and as I said, very clean!

Good location. Near Metro, bus station. Room was clean and comfortable . No reception desk when chech in at night, but next morning the reception office was available. Thanks their kind staff to help me keep luggage in their office untill 2Pm. It will be better if reading light available at sofa side not only at bed side.

The are is nice and the property is close to some grocery shops and also underground. The room that we had was average. The smell in the room nothing close to fresh. And the communication with the receptionist (which is via a phone btw) was so poor: she was claiming that she is not able to hear me most of the time, the attitude was like she didn’t care at all about the conversation and that she just wants to hang up as soon as she can. So overall nice area but really poor costumer service.

Extra spacious room and bathroom. Well equipped. Clean. Very good location. Smoke detector was extra sensitive. Reacted to steam from the kettle and what I imagine was the dust lifting off the wall mounted heater. Could be a nasty surprise for someone not familiar with those devices. Also one of the hobs on the stove kept blowing the fuse rendering the stove useless. Fortunately the fuse box was in the room. Easy to fix if you know how. I would recommend the hostel for its price, comfort and proximity to the city and public transport. It helps if you’re street smart :p

Great location and clean, good room

Great location for subway plus walking to city centre, Grünerløkka etc. Supermarket close by and a Sunday open bakery. Clean room with a spacious bathroom that even had a washing machine. Also microwave, fridge and cooking hobs and a sink in the room. No reception, you pick up a phone to speak to a man when you check in and if you need to pay for parking. Note that there are electrical chargers for cars outside but they don’t work, neither slow charge or fast. The staff on the other end of the mysterious phone know nothing about the car chargers and don’t speak good enough English to communicate about it. They don’t aswer emails about it either and cleaning staff don’t know. So don’t plan on charging your car here

Great price. Clean. Good location.

Overall a good experience. Rooms were clean, had a kitchen counter and a fridge. How ever when booking it wasn't made clear the reception was remote and only English. By the delay when talking, somewhere either in southern Europe or Asia. Having some trust issues in regards to call center operation in general due to all the scam calls lately, being met by an empty reception, a phone, a box of unprogrammed key cards, and a card terminal for payment of deposit made me hesitate. But staff on the other side seemed competent. Being directed to the map of all the rooms behind us, kinda also made a slight snag. One of our rooms was 1009, which wasn't noted on the map. On site cleaning services helped with the confusion without being asked, so a plus for on site staff. :) Rules for checkout could have had better grammar. Wasn't entirely clear what was expected in regards of sheets, trash and cleaning "kitchen platform". Urban area, so it was surprisingly not that noisy. No A/C so you'd need to have windows open in summer - but it was fine to do so. Just normal city noise. No traffic nearby. :) Price was GREAT. Close to Tøyen Town Square and Metro station - so it's easy to get around. Overall was a good stay.

Great location, very clean.

+ Great location, only 4 minutes walk from Toyen Underground station, 3 minutes walk from Toyen Park, supermaket, bakery, cafés.. + Very clean. - Only 1 towel per person, no shower mat so the bathroom floor can get easily wet. Also, only 1 little duvet per person, 1 pillow.
