「Great place. Very clean. It felt brand new. All staples you need plus there were snacks, coffee and waters. The po d out back is great for fishing! It was a surprise that the guest house is attached to the main house. However, we never saw or heard anything that impacted our time here. The location is very close to Hillsdale College. There are a handful of places to eat and trails arboretum nearby. 30 min from IMS.」

「The only complaint I have was with the odor from nearby farms. It wasn’t noticeable in the hotel. Other than that, the room, pool, and hotel were nice and clean. The breakfast selection was great and nice variety to pick from.」

「Low budget choice that isn’t fit for most travelers. Rooms are old and cosmetic upgrades are well beyond needed. Poor lighting in room and had no access to turn heat on. This place can be a good choice if trying to save $, but be prepared to rough it!!」

「It was a clean and fairly adequate motel except for the mattresses and other furniture. Out of three beds in our room, one was adequate and the other two were worn out and visibly sunken. There weren’t many amenities (ice, front desk, etc) but the lack of comfortable furnishings in the room - sunken beds, only a card table and three folding chairs, no place to put suitcases to open them, etc., made this property a negative for me.」

「Quaint homey feel.」

「The place appeared unkept on the outside. There were cigarette buts on the walkway and the tiles were broken. I thought it was strange for a bed to be in the living room and the second bedroom had a table and chairs in it. The bathroom lights were bare light bulbs. It’s an old house and needs some fixing up. It was adequate for our needs.」
