「Great place. Very clean. It felt brand new. All staples you need plus there were snacks, coffee and waters. The po d out back is great for fishing! It was a surprise that the guest house is attached to the main house. However, we never saw or heard anything that impacted our time here. The location is very close to Hillsdale College. There are a handful of places to eat and trails arboretum nearby. 30 min from IMS.」

「Low budget choice that isn’t fit for most travelers. Rooms are old and cosmetic upgrades are well beyond needed. Poor lighting in room and had no access to turn heat on. This place can be a good choice if trying to save $, but be prepared to rough it!!」

「The only complaint I have was with the odor from nearby farms. It wasn’t noticeable in the hotel. Other than that, the room, pool, and hotel were nice and clean. The breakfast selection was great and nice variety to pick from.」

「I have stayed here before and had great experience. There were a couple of snafoos when I arrived but everything worked out in the end. The stairs going up to my place were not ideal but I survived. I want to thank Rebecca for all her help and kindness. I want to thank the wonderful Kenton for coming down the next morning to do a great job getting my room in tip top shape. And last but not least, Scott. He came down from the Pub to reset my lock to make sure I would be completely safe. I...

「The place appeared unkept on the outside. There were cigarette buts on the walkway and the tiles were broken. I thought it was strange for a bed to be in the living room and the second bedroom had a table and chairs in it. The bathroom lights were bare light bulbs. It’s an old house and needs some fixing up. It was adequate for our needs.」

「Quaint homey feel.」

「It was a clean and fairly adequate motel except for the mattresses and other furniture. Out of three beds in our room, one was adequate and the other two were worn out and visibly sunken. There weren’t many amenities (ice, front desk, etc) but the lack of comfortable furnishings in the room - sunken beds, only a card table and three folding chairs, no place to put suitcases to open them, etc., made this property a negative for me.」

「The owners and staff are very nice and the breakfast was great!」

「Excellent stay. Been here multiple times. Never a problem. Comfy bed. Quiet room. Great breakfast.」

「A very comfortable room, amenities, and service. We can only say "if you are looking to be served well and enjoy your stay, stay at the Sauder Inn and you will not regret it".」

「Staff was very Friendly & helpful. Rooms are very nice & updated. Parking close. Breakfast Cafeteria had very very large variety along with Gluten Free Options -go hungry:)」
