「We were thrilled to be on the Thunder Bay river. My family likes to fish off the dock. It is shallow at this point and peacful. We were able to use one kayak. The second kayak was too filled with rain.water and too heavy for us to turn over and drain it. The deck is a lovely place to sit or eat and watch the river, except that the seat cushions were soaked with rain water also. I suggest a deck storage box to store the seat cushions when not in use. this will keep them dry and ready for use....

「Cute, charming, well decorated and carefully thought out home with a huge master suite! We enjoyed trips to the local ice cream and coffee shops, a super cute movie theather in town featuring new releases, a fun little putt-putt course and of course the beautiful beach and splash park that are minutes away. The hosts were super attentive and thoughtful. Leaving snacks and travel supplies for us to enjoy, and responding quickly to any questions we had.Just beyond the town and only 8 minutes away...

「Great home! Very clean and with all the things we needed for our stay. Walkable to Churchill Pointe Restaurant. We brought our paddle boards, spent our days hanging on dock, and rented a boat for an afternoon as well. Water is super clear and amazing for swimming. Fire pit for s’mores at night rounded out the trip. Derek is incredibly responsive, and was able to work with us when our dates shifted from what we originally planned. Would definitely stay again! 」

「The cabin was great!!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils. Lovely, considerate extras: ice, bottled water, fresh flowers, and so much more! We spent 2 nights as a couple and 2 more as grandparents of 2 boys (3&10). Such valuable memories and happy experiences. Beach was quiet and clean with anything you could hope for!!! So grateful for Carmen’s generosity. 」

「Wonderful week at a remote waterfront Lake Huron house. Bring everything you will need, as you are 30 minutes north of Oscoda and about 30 minutes south of Alpena. There is a dollar general nearby and a wonderful restaurant 10 min north but true shopping is limited. The house is spacious and located just off a rocky shore beach point with great access for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Recommend bringing drinking water as well.
