Good location, friendly and helpful staff.

We came late and were hungry. All restaurants were closing but the service minded receptionist helped us get take out from a nice Italian restaurant. We only stayed one night and left early, but I would definitely stay again.

Nettes Hotel in Strandnähe

Das Einchecken erfolgt wirklich erst ab 16:00 Uhr. Die unterbringung erfolgte nicht direkt im Hotel sondern im Gästehaus ca. 300m entfernt. Schade, dass das nicht bei der Buchung ersichtlich war. Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Mutter- Kind- Kureinrichtung. Die Fenster schließen aber sehr dicht, so dass man von der Kinderbespassung per Mikrofon kaum etwas mitbekam. Die hotelanlage ist sehr weitläufig-Frühstück war ebenfalls im Hotel Störtebeker ca. 350m entfernt. Dort befindet ein großes Restaurant. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr reichhaltig, aber das Personal spricht nicht wirklich deutsch und konnte uns oft nicht weiterhelfen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, ein großes Bad war sicherlich ein Pluspunkt. Ansonsten ist es eher anonym und nicht familiär. Hätten wir das alles vorher gewusst, hätten wir anders gebucht.

Alles prima

Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes und engagiertes Personal. Das Zimmer war gut, alles da was man erwartet und braucht! Handtücher, Fön, Minibar, Safe, Fahrradausleihefür wenig Geld! Für gehbehinderte ist es leider schwierig. Wir wohnten in der 2 Etage und mussten, trotz Fahrstuhl, eine Treppe laufen.

Das Personal freundlich, Frühstück reichlich.Ich hatte ein Hotel mit Sauna gebucht, leider wurde diese renoviert sodass ich sie nur einmal am Sonntag nutzen konnte als Ersatz wurde uns angeboten 5 Häuser weiter in einer anderen Straße die Sauna zu nutzen.. Eine Entschädigung wurde abgelehnt

Hotel in Strandnähe mit schönen + bequemen Zimmern

Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Kindern (11 + 16) für 3 Nächte in Baabe im Strandhotel abgestiegen. Da ich dieses Hotel schon von unserem Mutter-Kind-Kur-Aufenthalt kannte ( wir feierten wunderbar unseren WM Sieg und sahen alle Spiele der Fußball WM 2014 im Festsaal ) und die Strandnähe beeinflussten meine Entscheidung für dieses Hotel. Die Zimmer können ab 16 Uhr bezogen werden,wir hatten das Glück bereits um 14 Uhr einzuchecken. An der Rezeption wurden wir herzlich begrüßt. Das Zimmer bzw. unsere Suite ( "Wohnzimmer" als Durchgangszimmer mit Aufbettung der Couch für die Kinder und ein Schlafzimmer mit seeehr bequemen Betten - beide Zi. mit je 1 Fernseher) war bequem, hell und freundlich. Im Badezimmer hätte ich mir ein paar Ablagen / Regale für unsere Kosmetika ect. sowie eine Seifenablage in der Dusche gewünscht. Ebenso fehlte über alle Tage eine Matte vor der Dusche, so daß wir ein normales Handtuch vorlegen mußten. Fehlendes Bettzeug für´s 2. Kind wurde umgehend bereitgestellt. Wir hatten nur Übernachtung mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Frühstück erfolgte in Buffetform, war ausreichend und schmackhaft. Verschieden frische Brötchensorten und eine große Auswahl an frischen Obst sei hier hervorzuheben. Halbpension (Buffet) hätten wir für 20,- € p.P. nachbuchen können,fanden wir aber zu teuer ( in der Umgebung befinden sich mehrere Restaurants). Ein Parkplatz (6,- /9,- p.Tag) sollte vorher bestellt werden. Im Ort darf man nur 2 Std. in der Parktasche stehen (wird streng kontrolliert)

Die Zimmer waren sauber. Das Bad etwas sehr klein, ohne Ablagemöglichkeiten. Es gab nur einen kleinen Gitterkorbwagen, den man allerdings wegschieben musste um das Waschbecken zu benutzen. Die Umgebung schätzen wir als sehr laut ein. Zu allem Übel befindet sich 200m entfernt eine Großbaustelle wo derzeit das Fundament für die Tiefgarage ausgehoben wird.

Freundliches Personal in Restaurant und an der Rezeption. Die Arbeit der Zimmermädchen lässt sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Am Anfang musste ich sogar den Schrank reinigen um die Kleider deponieren zu können. Der Seifenspender im Badezimmer wurde nicht aufgefüllt trotz Reklamation. Auch der Zimmerboden hätte besser gereinigt werden können. Zimmerreinigung eines 4 Sterne-Hotels nicht würdig.

Tolles Hotel, fast am Strand und zentral gelegen

Das Hotel liegt zwar an der Hauptstraße von Baabe. Diese ist keine Durchgangsstraße und dadurch ruhig gelegen. Die Gebäudeteile mit den Zimmern befinden sich in der Nebenstraße. Nach wenigen Schritten erreicht man den kilometerlangen feinsandigen Strand, der sich bis zum Ort Göhren erstreckt. Cafés, Restaurants und Geschäfte befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Baabe ist sehr hübsch und ruhig. Die Zimmer sind in einem guten Zustand, machen einen neuen und gepflegten Eindruck. Die Dusche mit dem Bad ist sehr geräumig.

Great base for exploring Ruegen Island

We enjoyed several days at Srandhotel Baabe. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast buffet has everything a person could want and the front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The hotel is steps from the beach and several restaurants.Interesting bicycle tours can begin from the hotel and bikes can be rented from them or from several shops on the same street.Parking in the area is next to impossible, but hotel parking in their underground garage is possible for a fee, but is limited and must be applied for in advance.
