“Rapid River Retreat was perfect for a long weekend for relaxing. Close enough to Traverse City to take advantage of the many activities but far enough to be quiet and private. Ken was very quick to respond when we had a question about the coffee maker (it’s a fancy one :). Super relaxing to spend some time in the hot tub. Would absolutely visit again.”

“This was a perfect location for a golf trip to the Gaylord area. Right between Treetops and Garland and several other courses. The host was very good at responding to our questions, and the cabin was just right for us (two golfing guys) to be comfortable. Paul's Pub - about 1.5 miles down the road - was wonderful as well. ”

“Overall we were very pleased with the house and location of it. We were looking for peaceful place to stay and not to be disturbed by the neighbors. The house is located maybe 10 minutes outside of town so going to the grocery store or going to eat dinner was extremely easy. “Very spacious the kitchen was well supplied With over 10 table settings. The walking trail being only one block away was very very nice. I would recommend going to the fish hatchery. I would say Lakeview not Lakefront since you have to cross a major road so be careful if you try to cross right across from the house because the road is busy and at 45 mph but it’s a nice little park. The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. being an old house it was nice and cozy though.”
