“I loved my stay there! The room came with bundles of firewood and a s’mores kit for two, which was absolutely delicious. It was easy to get in touch with the staff via call or text. A lot of reviews mentioned having no signal, but my phone worked just fine.”

“This was our 2nd time staying here. The cabin is rustic but it is clean and had the basics we needed for a weekend getaway. It did the trick in helping us unwind from the hubbub of life and get back to experiencing the simple things in life. There was a nice breeze off the lake while we were there so we had the windows open and were quite comfortable. The cabin is right next to the boat launch so every now and then there’s the typical boat traffic going in/out of the lake but it didn’t intrude……

“Our family had an amazing long weekend at this place! We rented it for a summer end getaway before school and fall. It was perfect. The home was as described. Well stocked and clean with plenty of space to spread out with our 4 grandchildren and our children. The lakefront is ideal for young kids with a nice sandy beach area and shallow waters to play in. “This house was just as described. The house is clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The hot tub was nice and we used the fire pit one night. We had a little trouble initially using the keypad entry but the host responded immediately and was able to open it remotely. Would highly recommend this property for a quiet and remote experience. It’s about 15 minutes away from restaurants and shops. ”

“My family of four stayed here for a week in August. This was our first time renting on Pine lake and we enjoyed our stay very much. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. I absolutely loved the back deck area with the swinging chairs, hot tub, and fire table. We used all three while we were there. I could see how this would be a cozy place to be in the winter as well. We also use the Blackstone grill, which was really convenient. We rented their pontoon and really enjoyed fishing……

“This is our second stay at Barn Swallow and it met all our needs and more. Beautiful back yard with porch to sit in and watch the wildlife. Saw deer, turkey, blue birds, barn swallows, and hawks. Special this year was the sand hill cranes! Nice and spacious, wonderful kitchen, beautiful decor. Owners are very responsive to needs or concerns. We will be back!”
