  • Very clean and very quiet with an amazing view is what everyone of our previous guests have said in their 5 star reviews over the past 3 years. This apartment is the most beautiful rental available in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. please message for any questions or inquiries. free parking for 2 vehicles. 15 minute drive to the nicest spa in Canada. if you have to cancel, I offer to reimburse depending on it refilling. Quai de la Pointe is the dock in front of the house, which you have a great view of the fireworks, boats and fishing.

Great location by Ottawa river, adjacent to park & walking path. Spacious unit, fully equipped kitchen. Board games, sun room, books to entertain the family. Nice view of fireworks an added bonus to restful wknd.

Un endroit très propre, accessible et spacieux, idéalement situé sur la rue Jacques-Cartier. À deux pas des quais, des marinas et des restaurants, il offre pourtant une atmosphère intime et paisible. Un lieu parfait pour profiter du secteur tout en restant dans un cadre tranquille et bien entretenu. Nous avions une questions que l’hôte nous a répondu rapidement.

We enjoyed the apartment as a home base for an event close by. We were cozy and comfortable and enjoyed good nights rests. It was very lovely to be able to cook and enjoy meals right there. The view was great and we even got to enjoy seeing some wild life ( a bunny). Thanks Stephen! We will definitely return.

Stephen is very welcoming and easy to deal with. Communication is excellent. Love the location, beautiful views of the river. The apartment had everything we needed, comfortable beds too!

Steve was a fantastic host. The place had all the extras as well, which made this extra nice. GORGEOUS area, with cute cafes, restaurants around. River view was perfect... so nice to wake up with a coffee and enjoy the scenery on the balcony. Very close to Parliament (13-14 min) which was where we went for most of the trip.Ottawa "must see" is the Byward Market area. Cute cafe close by: Mon Cafe. The dessert is SOOO worth it!The view was just stunning, and we were able to pick raspberries from his bushes. Very lovely to have this in July! It was so thoughtful that he mentioned we could do this.The only thing that threw us a bit was that the photos were not up to date? We even wondered if we made an error in some way. LOL! However, hopefully that will be done soon.Thank you!

Loved the proximity to the river. Perfect to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view or walk beside the river. Lots of restaurants and services a short drive away. Close to the beautiful Gatineau park. A short drive to downtown Ottawa and the sights and museums. The suite is spacious well kept and has everything you need. Stephen was an excellent host.

Steve the host was very accommodating!I really appreciated him getting us a high chair for my visiting grandson:)He was very helpful when we had questions about the apartment.The balcony had a beautiful view..saw some lovely sunsets and sunrises:)We had a few issues with the tv but a new battery in remote resolved the issue.We would definitely book this apartment again!

Gatineau on the River

Property was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The porch was great to hang out on. Location was perfect for our trip, we went into Ottawa /Parliament Hill one day and went to Gatineau Park another day—easy drive to both places. Owner was very responsive to the few questions we had.
