Staff was very friendly and the room was nice and clean. The walls were a little thin (could hear snoring from neighbouring room), so had to turn fan on the A/C unit to create “white” noise to drown out snoring. Very thin pillows as well, but overall a pleasant stay.

This hotel is an hidden gem. The rooms are very nice and clean. The location is convenient and so close to the highway. It is only 30mins drive from Downtown Ottawa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was alright. The only downside is the pre- packaged eggs. I suggest they cook their eggs themselves or don't serve eggs at all. People are very careful when it comes to dairy and poultry products. The service was excellent. Staff were exceptional. The price is just right. I will be back many more times.

I found the beds to hard for my liking. Room was clean. There is a nice back yard to use for our dog during our stay but sadly hasn't been cleaned of dog poop in some time

It's obvious that a lot of work has been put into this motel recently to make it look nicer. One of the issues we had when staying here was the incredibly noisy heating unit. It kept kicking off and on and was so loud we eventually just set it to fan, but the room got so cold we had to turn it back on again for a while. This went on all night to the point we eventually got up and left at 5:30 in the morning. The other critique I have is around customer service. Although the staff were perfectly nice, I found it odd that when I came in I had to pickup a phone to let someone know I was at the desk to check in. They answered the phone as if they didn't know who was calling them. This isn't great customer service and also, I don't want to pickup a phone that who knows how many other people have been using and put it to my ear. For these reasons I would not stay here again.

We were visiting some friends who live just outside Kemptville and needed a room for the night. The SureStay was close and convenient to get to. It may not look fancy from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised and impressed at how warm, welcoming and clean it is on the inside. Our room was beyond our expectations with cleanliness and decor. The breakfast bar in the morning meet our needs and we loved the selection of coffee available.

Next time will book with the hotel and not through Expedia. We checked out a day early but had to pay 2 days because the hotel had to pay commission for 2 nights to Expedia. We tried to reach Expedia by phone but finally gave up trying. The hotel was as expected. Problem was with Expedia.
