Hoge Kempen National Park is near the holiday home, a nature reserve with beautiful heathlands, forests, and lakes. It is an excellent place for nature lovers to go hiking, cycling, or horse riding. The Duinengordel is also a lovely nature reserve with impressive dunes and stunning panoramas. Other fun outings nearby include the open-air museum Bokrijk and the cities of Hasselt and Maaseik, or take the children to Plopsa Indoor Hasselt or the barefoot path Lieteberg
