"From the listing, we expected this home to be 8 mins walk to the ocean. The reality is that it’s a 30-45 min drive depending on the route you take. We arrived late at night. Finding the house was almost impossible in the dark. Thank God we had a 4x4 SUV. We were shocked to learn that we would have to drive several kms off road through a maze of very steep and unmaintained cart paths to find this house with branches scraping the sides of our vehicle. "We had a nice stay at this riad and would rate it 4.5 stars. It had a lot of space spread over 4+ floors and nice character. It could use a little sprucing up (some painting, new outdoor cushions). Pros -big, lots of space -good central medina location -kitchen is well stocked -wifi was functional -excellent response from host (hot water heater broke and they replaced it right away) Cons -could use some extra love (outdoor cushions are worn and stained) -top terrace has potential, but needs...
