"Sparrows Nest was everything that was promised in the listing and so much more! The hosts were communicative and have excellent attention to detail for anything guests could want or need. It was quite spacious for our party of 6. Our pups appreciated the treats and the small yard available to them. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely go back when in the area again!"

"You can beat this place. A very nice remote cabin not far from Summersville Lake. We didn't see or hear any people while we were there. I did hear a rooster in the distance and saw several deer each evening. It was very clean and there's a washer, dryer and hot tub. Thank you for letting us stay there."

"This home was a blessing to us as we visited family in the area. The interior was spotless, but the porches could have used some attention. Pay attention to the host instructions accessing the drive from the highway. My son tried to make the hairpin turn and found he had to backup on the highway to do it. Not a good spot to be in. It was also difficult exiting the drive as your vision of traffic is limited due to the steepness of the driveway. Breakfast is always important to our family. All 8 of us met at the home and I cooked a large farm style meal. Everything needed was at hand. I especially appreciated the little things like salt and pepper, spices, paper towels, sugar for the coffee, even baggies for the leftover biscuits. We all enjoyed the back porch and appreciated the Off we saw on the shelf. The canoe access to the river allowed us to relive memories from many years ago. This was so much better than staying in a hotel room. We will be back."
