Nice large room. Comfortable bed. Restaurant nearby. Clean. Great location. Full kitchen didn't have any utensils, dishes, or pots. Staff helpful.

This hotel is convenient and close to highways, restaurants and a grocery store. I was checking in very late and alerted the staff to this and even prepaid for my stay, but the process still took a very long time - and I was very tired. Regardless, when I got to my room it was spacious and there was plenty of hot water. I never heard any of the other guests, which was surprising. The beds were very low and didn’t seem to have box springs, though, which made them a little uncomfortable.

Terrible experience. Our room was dirty and covered in trash and was extremely noisy. Management was impossible to reach and unwilling to help our situation.

Your room was inspected before you checked-in. Also I went to the room to see if it was anything I could do yet where I seen the room had been slept in. There was no trash in the room as me and my front desk agent went to inspect the room on your checkout date. We have a 48 hour cancelation policy. If there's anything else I can do feel free to reach me at the property.

Really nothing substantive to report….hotel was nice and as expected….only issue (and it’s a minor one) was that complementary coffee in the lobby was full of coffee grounds like they forgot to use a filter.

The room was not very clean. The refrigerator was dirty inside. There was grape juice or something purple all over the inside. The microwave was dirty and greasy on the outside. The handles on the kitchen cabinets were dirty. The outside of the cabinets were dirty as well. The walls are very thin and you can here people coming and going all the time. Very hard to sleep in.

Place was clean and cheap but the walls are so thin. We could hear when everyone got to their rooms all night. Around 11:00 pm the people on the floor above us got to their room and someone ran our stomped around from one end of the room to the other and up and down the hallway until 1:30 am. Said something to the front desk about it around midnight but it kept going. They picked it back up around 7:00 am. Not the hotel’s fault, but we heard every little bit of it. Could hear the conversation of the people in the room next to us also. Seems to be geared more towards people working jobs out of town for extended periods. Was a clean, low priced room but will avoid when traveling with the family in the future.

Desk clerk was very helpful. He helped my wife take our bags up to the room while I parked the car. The check in process was a mess since our credit card was reported incorrectly. The hotel is very had to find among other buildings. The room was very clean. Overall value was excellent. I will certainly consider this hotel the next time I'm passing thru Overland Park.

I try to stay at My Place whenever I travel, because they offer a kitchen and recliner option. I gave the staff a 2, only because the guy who checked me in was very nice, however they were in shift change and the gal that came on shift was AWFUL. Rude and dismissive. She needs to find a job where she doesn't work with people. Saw her 2 other times each was the same. Besides that the spot was great, for the cost it was even better. I was worried based on what I paid was pleasantly surprised that it was great.

The Staff were amazing and helpful. Unfortunately the bathroom was not clean! There was so much hair from the previous person! It was all over the bathroom too. Other than that, the room was perfect.
