Perfect house for our quick get away to bike ride and watch the Royals! Super quiet and safe neighborhood.Easy drive to Kauffman. Amazing comfy beds with extra blankets and lots of towels. Fun playroom enjoyed by all 3 kids.Kitchen with great appliances and plenty silverware/cookware.Glad to have the smart washer/dryer too, so convenient for our stay! Will definitely be staying again!

This beautiful home is nestled in a tree-lined neighborhood next to a picturesque creek (where a family of ducks kept us company). The house has a lovely, cosy feel - comfy beds, pretty views, good flow. We thoroughly enjoyed our time & hope to be back!One caveat: both bathrooms require navigating stairs for access, so this would not be a good choice for anyone with mobility issues.

Brief Stay in Kansas City

We really loved this property. It was a great spot that allowed us easy access to surrounding areas where we have lots of family. But this spot is also great if you are looking to stay local as its in a great neighborhood with shopping, restaurants, and parks within short driving distance. The house had lots of towels and dishes which was perfect for our family of seven. The master bed was very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful place for a small family reunion.

Everything was easy. The location was perfect. It seems like a tucked away paradise but just a short distance to anything you could need. Also saw a beautiful owl family in the backyard.

Absolutely perfect for an extended family

My brothers and sisters and some of their spouses as well as a cousin stayed her for two nights. The location was perfect -- Overland Park is near Leawood, which is where the funeral we gathered for was located. There were three bedrooms suitable for couples, one with bathroom en suite and the others with a bathroom nearby, plus the bunk room. We all had the room and privacy we needed, and the living room was comfortable to hang out in. But our favorite aspect was the backyard, looking out over a charming creek. It was also delightful to find good tennis courts quite close, and we ALMOST got in a game of pickle ball with the host's equipment. Bring your own coffee!

Fantastic Staycation Location

This was a great place to stay. Plenty of space, things for our kids to do, close to a lot of restaurants. We stayed here for a week while our home interior was being painted. Would definitely stay again during home projects or recommend to people that are coming from out of town.

House for KC activities with great location

Me and my friends met in KC for a long weekend for a Royals game and other activities. The house treated us well. The beds were comfortable and all seating areas had comfortable furniture. The house is located in a great, safe neighborhood with also good location to get to things. Would stay again.

Friends getaway after the Christmas season

Beautiful property and House, nice neighborhood and close to many shops and activities but still a little way from the city to stay out of the loudness. Great place to have a little getaway and hanging out with family or friends Me and my friend work over 12hrs everyday with only one day off so as a break from all that madness we choose this lovely place. It feels like the nice and chic stay as if at a hotel but privacy at our own home. The owners are lovely and communicate very well. I would totally stay again!

Christmas 2024

We thoroughly enjoyed our VRBO stay. The house was so comfortable and the space was perfect for our 5 adult children and their respective families.The area was quiet and beautiful and we enjoyed daily walks through the neighborhood!The location of the property put us close to restaurants and attractions.The owners of the property were easy to communicate with and they answered any questions I had in a timely fashion.I would definitely book this property again!!!

Mini Reunion

Property was in a nice area. The front stairs were high and cumbersome to navigate and there is no hand rail. The interior staircases are steep. The kitchen was very disorganized. We all felt that the kitchen especially needed a deep cleaning. The space itself gave us ample room to visit.

Great place for a group

Everything about this place was terrific for a group! Location, layout, space. We didn't cook as it was a shorter trip but the kitchen seemed to be well equipped. We enjoyed morning coffee on the patio. Only updated needed would be the listing. There is only 1 bunk bed in the lower bedroom

Great Location

Very quaint home with lots of character! Accommodated 11 of us with no problem. Check in was super easy. The property included some extra items such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Qtips and even some disposable ear plugs! I had inquired about a pack-n-play when we arrived and while they didn’t have one; Stanton went above and beyond and ordered one that was delivered within a couple hours! The only thing I didn’t realize was just how many stairs there were in the house and having a 19 month old was interesting, but she adjusted quite well after the first couple hours. The ping pong table and basketball hoops were a big hit with the kids! Would definitely stay here again.
