“The view from our front door was wonderful. The sounds from the busy traffic on the highway right behind us, not so much. The rooms were clean and the shower was exactly as described. The downside was taking a cold shower ten minutes after getting in. The air conditioner was definitely in need of repair. When I mentioned this to the staff they stated they already knew about this and would request maintenance fix it. For the price it was acceptable but not remarkable. ”

“This property and surrounding are great. We stayed on the cabin, and we have our own parking space. They can do some clean up with the bathroom and toilers and they are peeling off and making it uncomfortable. Kitchen utensils and BBQ place are good.”

“The room was new and clean, however the bed was awful. The amenities, other than a nice pool, were just not there. The property itself could use a refresh. But, the view was wonderful, and the hiking trails were great. ”

“Perfect place for couples to relax. Walking distance from hotel to all the shops and restaurants is a plus. Highly recommend. ”

“Very efficient. Everything was clean and what we expected for a one-night stay. Comfortable room (the Prince Solms), nice, dark curtains for sleeping in. A note - check-in is done via email and you are given a code to your room. We didn't need anything from staff, so we never saw them. Worked well for us.”

“Our stay was great! Flora & Fauna is a really cool place to stay. It honestly felt like we had the whole place to ourselves which was super cool. We brought our little dog and he loved the property too. All in all, we LOVED our stay. Here are a couple of things that would have made it just a little better: - Breakfast: We found Blanco Brew a little too far to walk to every morning so we ended up driving. It was fine with a pastry and a drip coffee but a little lacking compared to other hotels.……

“GREAT HIDDEN FAMILY PROPERTY ON THE WATER! Lots of space and amenities for everyone!”

“It’s a cute small inn hotel, I wouldn’t stay in the rooms over the bar again, they were far too loud from the bar with music every night and an ac unit in the window that allowed all the street noise in. The room needs some updated blackout curtains to keep it darker at night as well. The location is great and close to downtown square.”
