The check in process up until we arrived at the property was seamless. Luckily we arrived early evening because the deadbolt was locked and it took an hour for the team to arrive and let us in. The house is lovely with enough little spaces to have some quiet time if needed. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen items (dishes, pots and pans, utensils). The bathroom was clean and there was plenty of clean bright white towels. The downstairs couch was very comfy and the coordinating chair was comfy for my daughter and I. The bedroom and bathroom shower ceilings were high enough for us, but would not be ok for anyone taller than 5’11’ or 6’. (The showerhead was almost too low for my 5’10” son). The queen bed was very soft (though firmer on one side than the other) - not great if you need a firm mattress but not unbearable.Overall, a great experience if you are looking for something cozy, not in the middle of the downtown but close enough to everything you might need or want to do. Also highly recommend hiking up to Owls Head Lighthouse, catching a sunrise, getting ruckus Donuts (took us 3 tries as they sell out early most days) and the Monhegan boat cruises (we did the puffin and nature one, available seasonally).
