Very clean and comfortable stay. Had a beautiful sea view from my room right on Douglas bay promenade. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and service. Pub next door was convenient and also served food. Easy access to horse carriage and electric railway for tourist activities and sites. Bicycle friendly with a locked garage.

The location was beautiful on the sea front and near the electric train. We rented a car for one day and we were easily able to find parking in front of the building. We didn’t eat breakfast at King’s House as we were busy in the mornings. We got fresh towels each day and a fresh supply of cookies and tea. The staff were eager to help with whatever you needed.

The staff we're lovely however we didn't stay in the end as the bathroom was mot in our room it was on the landing were there was also 3 other bedroom doors. There was no sockets in the bathroom and no mirror in the bedroom, so trying to get ready to attend a wedding was an impossible task. The staff understood my situation and help us find other accommodation as there were no other rooms available.
