“Warm welcome, enjoyed delicious breakfast and nice chat with owners each morning. Facilities in good condition and well maintained. Decorated intentionally making guests a home stay feel. Near bus stop and promenade, also walkable distance to main streets and dock. To nitpick, there’s creaky sound walking on the wooden floor.”

“The family run Welbeck Hotel was perfect for our short stay on the I.O.M. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, serviced every day, early access to our rooms was much appreciated. Meals were served in a lovely dining room with a good selection of breakfast options. In our opinion the hotel is worthy of a higher star rating, the fact that it’s a 15min walk in to town was not an issue for us. We would definitely stay……

“The most welcoming and efficient check in process I ever seen!! Room was delightful, large, and appointed with personalised care. The breakfast was made to order and delivered with wonderful hospitality. Checkout was just handing the key back - oh and the minibar was complimentary. Genuinely a wonderful experience.”

“Staff were extremely helpful and breakfast was more than I could eat, so asked to reduce after first day. Manx cooked breakfast was great, but the only small issue was that 'runny eggs' do not mean uncooked eggs (fried and poached, had the same issue). This was a small issue and I have made the comment so that the hotel can address as I will be staying there again. Thank you.”

“The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. ”

“A very nice quiet hotel located right of the promenade , villa marina and near many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. Excellent staff provides quiet, friendly service. Room was very comfortable , quiet and everything worked well and was well maintained. It’s a great choice in Douglas. Restaurant had very good food too.”
