My group was composed of 7 well-traveled men in their 60’s and 70’s who spent 4 nights at the house while attending a tennis tournament in nearby Ojai. To start with the good things about the house, I would cite the very good communication with the management company as well as how well laid out the house was to comfortably sleep our large group. The reason that I would give the property a four star rating and not a five star rating is that it is not quite up to the standard as shown in the photos. While the photos are not in any way inaccurate, they are very professionally done and present the house in a little bit of a better state, and more fresh than the actual reality of the house. It’s a little bit tired and could use some refreshing, although it is quite clean. And the provisioning of the house in terms of the quality of the sheets, etc is really quite basic. So the bottom line is that it’s a pretty good value for the money, especially if you want to be just across the street from the beach. But it’s not something that has a lot of nice touches or feels special in any way.
