The view couldnt have been better, the spund of the waves and the seals was relaxing. The kitchen is well equipt and the was pleanty of room for 9 adults.

Gorgeous house, wonderful location. Well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The highlight were the sea lions right outside on the beach, sunning themselves and frolicking in the waves. We wish we had booked a longer stay!

This is the most beautiful beach-front home we have ever been in, and that's saying something since we are from Manhattan & Huntington Beach! The photos on line don't do the size, furnishings & views justice - it was stunning & my 8 guests couldn't stop raving about it. The house was very clean & well-equipped, especially the kitchen, where we cooked big meals. All of the windows were spotlessly clean/clear, which made the giant picture windows perfect for viewing the morning beach with surfers & sealions and enjoying sunset happy hours. All the rooms were nice size, the Master Suite is the highlight, and HUGE! The beach is literally at the bottom of the stairs & is quiet with not many people. Walks on the beach & around the harbor were a highlight. The host was super - gave us a lot of good suggestions & check in was a breeze. We are already looking to see when we can return.

Multigenerational Beach Vacation

This is our 7 or 8 time at Ellen’s Beautiful Beach house and I can’t say enough about the house and Ellen’s response if you need anything during your stay. To be able to watch the grandkids surf and play in the ocean while we enjoy sitting in the glorious bedroom suite is my highlight. The grandchildren always ask me to book again before we even leave. We will be back.

Dads Surprise 80th Birthday Weekend

Perfect location. Exactly what we wanted for this fun family weekend. The house was beautiful and had all the space we needed. Access to the beach and the views it provided were mesmerizing. Host was attentive and communicated very well. We are hoping to stay here again very soon.

Best Beach House Ever

We have booked this amazing house every summer for the last 8 years. It’s perfect for a multigenerational family get together and Ellen is always available if needed, which is rare. Before we leave the grandkids are begging we book again next year. Treat yourself and your family and book a stay there.

My family and I had a great stay here! Ellen was a great host. She was very responsive and accommodating. Her home is well stocked, clean, spacious and comfortable. There are lots of impressive amenities avail for use (bikes, wet suits, built-in speakers that play music throughout the home, etc). To top it all off, the fact that her home is beachfront property cannot be beat! Highly Recommend!

Annual quilting retreat

A group of lifetime friends, mostly all nurses, come together for a three day weekend every February. We have stayed here at Ellen’s house several times and at others in the area also. Ellen’s house is by far our favorite. Beautiful, comfortable, and always spotless. Luxury at its best. We eat, sew and catch up with each others lives while we watch the ocean. The best!

This beach house exceeded my expectations. Beautiful house, Amazing views, perfect location and so many great options of beach toys for the kids to play with (surf boards, boogie boards etc.) Ellen was always available to communicate with but didn't need to as everything was perfect and house was beyond fully stocked with necessities. Would definitely stay here again.

Always the BEST!

Everything about this house and location is PERFECTION! The kitchen is AMAZINGLY well stocked and the overall house has everything you need. We have LOVED staying here over the years and it is the ONLY beach house we will ever come to. Ellen is a FABULOUS host and we can't wait to come back again SOON!
