“Staff was friendly and attentive”

“I’ve never experienced a team of employees so eager to go home. They literally told people relaxing at the pool to get up so they could remove pool cushions 30 minutes before close so they could go home early. Bar closed early… basically when the bartender felt like it, restaurant closed early too. Nothing ever happened as advertised. Basically, I got the vibe they don’t care about the customer experience, just collecting a check and going home when they feel like it. Jon at the bar could be……

“For the amount of money paid, you would think there would be a microwave andrefrigerator in the room. No cleaning service no cell service and spotty Wi-Fi. The shower was terrible hot water to cold water without changing the knob no steady temperature half of the restaurants not open or closed early food, choices, or limited not worth the money. Should’ve just stayed in Holiday Inn for half the price”

“Room was older but very clean. Everyone was helpful and very nice. The food is excellent. We had dinner twice and breakfast once. All 3 meals were delicious.”

“Like anything on the web today, the pictures are amazing. The overall look and layout of everything was great. The cabins are t owned by Westgate but privately owned and rented out by the individual owners. The main lodge looks amazing but what’s hard to tell from the online pics is that it is set up like a motel. All rooms are accessed from outside. And the majority of rooms are set up in like dorm buildings. Reminded me of a rustic camp from childhood”

“The property is nice, but not excellent. Elevators need to be swept. Hard surface floors in rooms need to be swept and washed, especially at trail from from bathroom to the bed. Rooms are a great size and kitchenette is very sufficient. The doors between suites need to be sealed and door sweeps placed on them to block the noise. I had a group of somewhat noisy young men/boys next to me--could not hear parents or female voices talking in the room, but could hear them well. Also, heavy……
