Wonderful visit

Excellent property in a great area. Very near ocean with spectacular walking. House is perfect for families and John (host) is incredibly flexible. We hope to return.

Great location and well appointed

We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, baking dishes, and even some basic cooking ingredients. The children were thrilled with their room and the whole house was immaculate. We would definitely book again if it was available.

Wonderful stay

Amazing location 1 block from the ocean. House was well equipped and the backyard is huge and well appointed, including a good grill. Great place for a beach weekend!

Perfect location for walks on PG shoreline

Great house, very clean, comfortable beds. Loved the backyard BBQ. But the highlight was sunrise walks along the shore that was steps from the front door.

This is our third time at the house, and, as always, it was a relaxing escape. We could even listen to the ocean from the yard. The house is comfortable and well-maintained. Wonderful place!

Love Pacific Grove

House was great and location is fantastic! Right across from the 18th hole of the Poor man’s Pebble Beach. Property owner was quick to reply and house is nicely appointed. Only issue, and it is a small one, is it is advertised as being dog friendly but it was not. And there is only seating for 5 at the kitchen table.

Beach house Bliss

Spacious, up to date & clean, kitchen-generous utincels, cookware, glassware, appliances, great fire pit and patio in back, spacious bathrooms, washer dryer. A very short 2 min walk to beautiful coastline and a 10 min drive to a beautiful white sand beach. Loved our stay and want to come back!

Wonderful stay at a great house!

Almost everything was wonderful! We couldn't have asked for better location or accomodations. Three small issues. Only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. If we were supposed to supply it would have been nice to know ahead of time. We had 7 adults for 3 days. More than 7 towels bath towels would have been nice. And the thermostat seemed to be set at a standard temp, unable to be changed.The low temps on the first night of the stay made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

Location, location,location

Weather was perfect! Waves awesome! Close enough to golf course to watch our guys on the driving range and on their final hole! We played poker outside in the nice weather until dark! Ate at Fandango's . Great as always ! No complaints

Accomodations were exactly as represented, spacious enough for 6 adults and 3 kids. Loved the location, easy walk to the beach. Nice quiet neighborhood. Would recommend this rental! Only issue we had was the ground floor bath/shower drained very slowly and I didn't get a response from the owner, but we were only there for a few days. Left a note in the tub. We would gladly rent this again!

Family fun

This was a perfect place for my family of four (2 teens) and my sister’s family of four (two 8 year olds) to spend a long weekend together. We especially appreciated how there was enough room for everyone to do what they wanted - there was a group playing a complicated strategy game in the room off the kitchen, a couple playing solitaire at the kitchen table, kids watching a movie in the living room, and sometimes someone would take a break and read upstairs in one of the large bedrooms. The backyard is outstanding (we had a nice fire and roasted marshmallows). And the location is in easy walking distance to the ocean and tide pools. It was clean, well maintained and exactly what we were looking for.

Good for Families

The home was comfortable for our party of 7 adults but is more suitable for adults with children. One bedroom has bunkbed with an older hide a bed that blocks exit from bunkbed when in use. There are two small dining tables in the house and a large dining table outside. Our group could not be seated indoors at the same table, ideal uncrowded, seating for meals, is workable for separate adult and kids tables. The location is great! Steps from the beach, oceanfront, walking, trail, and around the corner from PG municipal golf course.

Location is verry good. service need to renew. And owner spend part of service charge to cosmetic.

Location and neighborhood are verry Good. Cleanliness of property vas does not complete no pepper Tavel no tissue paper. Communication with property manager vas badly. I asked two time to owner by messages, and he answered. I don't know.

Great location

House location is unbeatable. 2-3 minute walk to the waterfront where you can watch otters in the wild. Only 2 miles from the aquarium/cannery row. Would stay here again based on location alone! House itself is basic. You have everything you need but it’s not especially luxurious. Downstairs sink and shower drain very slowly. We only received 8 bath towels and 3 washcloths despite booking for 9 people - supplemented with provided beach towels. We ran out of hot water a couple of times when we had the whole group who needed showers after a day of hiking and beaches (feels expected given smaller/older home and lots of people). Beds are comfortable. Kitchen small but adequate. There is a small toy closet which was nice for the kids. Backyard is large and has a fire pit and a grill (we did not try to use either). Plenty of street parking and a driveway. Neighborhood is quiet. House worked well for our needs given we were out and about most of the 5d we were in Monterey.

Great place to stay

The house was so comfy and nice. Had all the little things you would need. It was a block away from the ocean walk. And you can see the water from the upstairs window. We were visited by some friendly deer in the mornings. Such a great experience, would love to stay there again.

Great location. Short walk to the beach. Beds were comfortable. We would visit the area again.I think it was an oversight, but there were not enough towels and washrags for the four of us for the first night after a very long day of travel. They did wind up, bringing them after a while. We appreciated that.
