Tribute to Josh

We celebrated the life of our brother. He was a simple guy who loved deeply. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan. The cabin was perfect. Nice lake out the back door with great porch for relaxing. We unfortunately didn’t get to go outside. Flooding rain cut our trip short. Great communication with the owner. Would return and recommend others to as well.

Wedding weekend stay!

This was the perfect stay for my bridesmaids and I the night before my wedding - it was so cute and very nostalgic! My husband and I stayed here the night of the wedding and it was perfect waking up right on the lake Sunday morning.

Great place for a relax weekend.

Cute little cabin

The cabin was well stocked. Communication with owner was quick. Our teenage girls had fun paddle boating on the lake. The drive was pretty.

Great location for Purina Farms

We were here for a dog show at Purina Farms. The fenced in front yard worked well for pottying the dogs. The house has a nice layout. The owner communicated well and responded quickly. We will book this property again.

Short family vacation

My husband and I took our son and grand-daughter on a short trip to St. Louis for spring break. We found this cute cabin not too far of a drive and on a lake and it was perfect for us. We loved it and it had everything we needed.

Loved the Lake house!

We loved staying at the Lake house! The house has lots of room for family gatherings and games, yet still has a cozy warm feel too. It was perfect for our family get together! The Lake is so peaceful and beautiful, and the house has multiple Lake views from both private bedrooms and family areas. Perfect for a fun relaxing getaway!!!

Lovely Lake Haven

Our family gathered for the wedding of our daughter at a nearby venue. lake Haven was perfect — spacious, lots of seating, beautiful deck, well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed! We would definitely go again! Thank you, Bruce!

Wonderful!

The cabin was amazing! It reminded me of my parents summer cabin we had when I was young. It had everything we needed and plenty of room. Loved the outside deck. The kids even tried fishing!

Very cute place

We came here for the weekend and had an absolute blast. The worst thing about it is that we were here in November and it was too cold to truly enjoy all this place had to offer. There were some doors that were fidirt and one that didn't close all the way, this didn't lock (master bedroom), so we hoped it was a safe place. It felt like it was, but that did concern my wife a little. We loved the eclectic design of the home, and there was plenty of space. It was a good location and we got to enjoy pizza from one of the restaurants in Eureka. We'd stay here again.

Amazing property!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, well decorated and stocked to perfection. Of course you bring your own groceries but the host had clean towels laid out in all the rooms, coffee available to use, grills and seasonings, even some fishing poles to use. Bride was very responsive and the instructions for check in and out were clear. We would love to stay here again.

Ideal retreat in nostalgic mid-century design

This charming home was exactly as described, though the photos do not do justice to its expansive size and vibrant decor. The host was outstanding: responding quickly to our few questions upon arrival and even going the extra mile to purchase a favorite board game I had asked about before our stay. We wanted a quiet place with character away from the busy city and from tourist magnets, and this place was a winner. Would definitely stay here again.

Family wedding

We had a family wedding to attend at Westwood Hills. We were 10 minutes from the venue. My boys enjoyed getting in the kayaks, fishing. We had a beautiful day hanging on the deck. Nice family oriented cabin.

Family Vacation

The 50's Cabin was everything I expected. Definately took me back to my childhood. All the little details were remarkable. We enjoyed the lake kayaking and Canoeing. The firepit was beautiful in the evening. It was an incredible weekend.

Cute little retro cabin with lots of family space

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Haven! It was perfect for our group. We were in the area for our sons wedding and need a place to stay, but also to finish last minute wedding details and visit with family that was in town. This cabin worked perfectly. Lots of living/entertaining space and comfortable sleeping areas. The retro vibe was fun and the lake view was peaceful and relaxing. 5 stars for this rental!
