"The hotel has a great location if you plan to visit different parts of San Francisco--with the Marina District and Fisherman's Wharf to the north, Union Square to the east, the Civic Center to the south and Presidio to the west. Our room was clean and comfortable--not "boutique", but we weren't looking for that. In the morning, if you don't want a full breakfast, there's a nice little stand in the lobby for coffee and pastries; and there's a great bakery (Juniper) around the corner. One more bonus -- very effective light-blocking shades."
