  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. Breathtaking Views in a Stunning Home

We loved this home! The rustic cabin feel made us feel at home in the mountains. We enjoyed beautiful views from the lovely hot tub, too. The cherry on top was it is a dog friendly rental, and our Corgi enjoyed her stay as well. Highly recommend!

Perfect for family ski trip

Winter’s Cabin was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located for easy access to Wolf Creek Ski mountain. The deck is lovely with an incredible view and includes rocking chairs, a grill, a full dining table, and a hot tub! The house was beautiful and very comfortable for our family of 5.

Perfect spot and great house

Everything about our stay was amazing. House was great and very comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed. Back porch rockers was a perfect spot to relax. Will stay here again when back in Pagosa Springs!

Awesome mountain cabin

My family (wife, 2 boys and I) absolutely loved the cabin and provided and excellent base camp for our 1st family ski trip. The boys kept asking if we could come back every year and we definitely will be. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend more.

The pictures of this property don’t do it justice. It’s better in person, we were so comfortable during our trip! This will likely be our “go to” cabin to rent in the future.

Wonderful Winters cabin

Family trip to enjoy the gorgeous fall colors in Pagosa. House was beautiful, well stocked, and very relaxing. One of the most inviting and comfortable vrbos we’ve stayed in. Love the deck. We had turkeys greet us one morning in the front yard. We will definitely stay again if we make it back to Pagosa Sprigs

We loved Winters Cabin!!

We had a great stay! Beautiful home and had everything that we needed for our family of 4. The beds were very comfortable! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils. The hot tub was amazing especially after skiing all day. It was a little difficult to get to after it had snowed but we put our chains on and it was fine. We would definitely stay there again!

Great View!

New construction with a fantastic view. House was wonderful & cozy for our family. I would definitely stay here again. Only suggestion I have is to add a few more extra blankets to the closets.

2023 Ski Trip

The home was everything it was advertised to be. It was very accommodating and the morning sunrise was spectacular! The open kitchen and floor plan was perfect and the wood burning fireplace added the perfect amount of Colorado flavor!

Beautiful Inside and out.

This was the peaceful break from the heat we were looking for. It is a lovely and new space, with beautiful details. We did not use all the rooms, since there was only three of us. Would be a nice place for a family with teens.

Great Fall Getaway

High-end, clean, comfortable, well-appointed and well-furnished. Lives up to the distinction of luxury rental. Great outdoor spaces, beautiful view from the rockers on the back porch, cozy wood-burning fireplace, great kitchen, comfy beds. And to top it all off, the management team was top notch and made everything clear and easy. We hope to go back!

Great mountain views

This was a great place to stay with my family. It was a perfect mountain retreat. Great fireplace, kitchen, beds etc. Place is super accommodating. Can't say enough about the communication with the owners rep. They were outstanding. One thing is you better have a 4x4 or AWD vehicle during the winter months or you may not make it to the house or out of the drive.

This beautiful cabin felt like home and is perfectly located just outside of Pagosa Springs. The primary bedroom was comfortable and they provided lots of extra pillows and blankets. The kitchen is well stocked and they have anything you might need. Hot tub has a beautiful view and was perfect after skiing for the day. Winter’s Cabin exceeded our expectations. We had one small issue and the management company was super responsive and came out within 2 hours of the initial call-best service we have ever had at a rental home. We cannot wait to come back for another trip!

Beautiful view

Stay was fantastic!! Cabin was bigger than expected which was great, the cabin is absolutely beautiful a the back porch view & size was perfect! The place was absolutely a perfect getaway for our anniversary, not far from Pagosa, not far from hiking trails. Only issue we had that I feel should be made aware to others prior to staying & only reason I didn’t give a 5star on cleanliness was due to reading over the binder once arriving to the house it said sometimes they didn’t change the blanket in between stays which kinda rubbed me the wrong way, so my wife & I went straight to Walmart in Pagosa to buy sheets & blanket for the master bed after finding hair on the blanket & sheets. We put the original back before leaving but was not ok with the possibility of sleeping with a blanket (&/or) sheets someone else possibly slept in, especially after finding a couple pieces of women's hair in the bed. We’ve stayed all over in multiple places using VRBO & have never ran across a place leaving that in the binder to me that’s pure laziness from A) the property owner, B) The Management company, or C) The cleaning crew They should have more then 1 set of bedding so every stay it can be all changed out & the other(s) can be washed properly. As beautiful as the property was a the money that went into that property not changing the bedding is unacceptable I’d expect that in a low end rental which is why I always look for the best/nicest we can find in our price range.
