Stunning location and the driftwood inn is very well equipped and features a lot more things that aren't shown in the photos. This place definitely exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend staying here.

Great place for the family ... right next to the beach which the children loved and so did the adults. It was great to be able to have my dog with us on holiday . Donna was great to communicate with . We will go back again .

Our family and small dog all really enjoyed our winter holiday in this cosy well-equipped bach on the Pakawau beachfront. The log fire was a favourite along with the comfortable beds and couches and big wooden table for games nights. We had a mix of weather from torrential rain and strong winds to fine sunny days with sunrises, sunsets and lots of great walks. Would happily stay again. Thank you!

Another amazing stay in Pakawau. The house is fantastic. Right on the beach, you could not get any closer. Beautiful and clean with all the essentials you need. We did have a problem with the water pump but one phone call and the owners had someone come and fix straight away. Fantastic service! Highly recommend this property to others.

Our stay at Pakawau was nothing short of perfect—a peaceful retreat with the beach right on our doorstep, offering the ideal setting to unwind. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, truly a home away from home. The highlight? We were able to bring our two dogs, Kaia and Molly, along for the adventure. The Bach care team was incredibly welcoming, making it easy for us to enjoy the weekend together. Plus, with The Old School Café just down the road and also dog-friendly, the girls were able to join us for a bite, making the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax with their furry friends! Ness and Dave

Basic property, great supply of firewood, way too expensive considering current tourism climate, time of year, location, having to supply all your own linen etc and having to basically do a total spring clean when you leave, And the tv didn't work
