Elvira and her brother were wonderful hosts, always making sure we had everything we needed! The house is extremely charming, spacious and clean, and we had all of the amenities we needed. We especially think the back terrace overlooking the sea view is the real “perle rare” of this place, we didn’t want to leave! Yes, it’s true, the house is close to a nightclub so some nights you will hear it but it didn’t bother us as we were tired from our days and we even went to check it out one night! Overall amazing stay we’d love to return again!

Tolle Lage ,Haus ist leider in die Jahre gekommen. Dringende Sanierung nötig. Vor allem die Bäder. Wasserdruck in fer Dusche und Toilette nicht vorhanden. Mann muss mit Eimer voller Wasser in der Toilette nachhelfen zum nachspülen.Dusche schimmlig,unsauber.Wasserdruck übel.Bei langen Haaren auch ein no go.

Mondello Girls Trip

Elvira and Alfredo were incredible hosts who were available for us at each step of our stay! They provided us with recommendations for local food, drinks & private taxis to take us around Sicily! The home is stunning with breathtaking views. We will be back again soon!

Waterfront

The waterfront view with large windows was amazing. The house is spacious and comfortable. Nicely decorated. Unfortunately no private parking on property but there was always a spot outside of the house. Showers are tight but that's to be expected in Italy. There were an abundance of mosquitoes which made it difficult to be out - perhaps host may want to consider spraying frequently. Host was very responsive and took his time to explain the house at check-in. We were surprised that we were charged extra for 5 people when the property has 3 bedrooms (this was the first time I encountered this issue) but we paid it. We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful view

Great view, good location. Very nice owner. Just an fyi there is a night club about 150m from the house. Can hear the music and parking was an issue when having a late dinner. But all and all a great place. Breathtaking views!!!

Gorgeous view and the private beach!

Beautiful property great location but make sure will bring water shoes for the beach. Rocks can be a rough if the ocean is not very calm.

Wonderful view of the sea

We loved the large terrace overlooking the sea. It is the highlight of the property, a wonderful place to share a meal or simply enjoy the view and the sound of the waves. The villa is comfortable although dated. It features a large dining table. The kitchen is small and old. Internet service is good but the small TV does not support streaming services, just Italian channels. Be aware that two villas (this one and the one below) share the common area near the rocky shore. This unit did not have its own grill/BBQ so we did all cooking indoors. Easy drive to the beach town of Mondello which has much to offer.

Beautiful Sea View

Great 4 bedroom home in Mondello with a great seaside terrace view. The home offers 2 bathrooms, nice living/dinning room area, adequate kitchen and washer. The terraced outside space was lovely and enjoyed all day. There are a series of stairs to navigate from the street level to the home. There is another home owned by a family member directly underneath and was rented out for the weekend we stayed. Both homes share the garden and the terraced sea access. We did not swim, due to schedule and weather. Home is convenient to Palermo and Mondello with a very nice grocery store nearby. Parking is located on the street directly in front of the home. Traffic can be busy at times. Fabio and his wife kindly greeted us the evening of our arrival, our flight was delayed and they were very accommodating

Beautiful setting on the Tyrrhenian Sea

Spacious property and gorgeous scenery. Very tranquil an everything is supplied for you.Very gracious and accommodating hosts. I highly recommend staying here. Hope to come back i in the future.

Friends on Holiday

Fantastic sun terraces and great access to the ocean. Also an outside shower. Property could do with a bit of attention. Kitchen was small and needed updated. Plumbing and electrics could do with a bit of an upgrade. Transport required to access many restaurants. Finally we were very disappointed in the amount of rubbish on the streets of Palermo.

A house at the sea

A nice house situated on rocks so it was hard to go swiming due to big waves. Beautiful sunrise since the house is turning east. We could swim 1,5 days out of 5. The beach in Mondello is close though. Nice host only Italian speeking. As always in southern Europe hard beds regarding standard beds in northern Europe. Bus station across the house.

Great water views

Being on and in the water is required in Sicily and this property delivers. Mondello is a cute little beach town with fresh seafood and plenty of nightlife. The house is reminiscent of visiting your favorite great aunt, the bathrooms and kitchen are dated but the back veranda on the sea more than makes up for it. Grea There is a great little martlet, la Bottega di Nanno where you can get prepared foods and salumi’s and cheese to enjoy Al fresco back at the house.

Beautiful spot by the sea between Palermo and Mondello

Terrific location right by the sea with a huge terrace and excellent layout for two families or couples with their own bathrooms on either side of the living room. The hosts were very friendly and approachable and the property is on the main bus route between Palermo and mondello. We would advise use of buses rather than driving in the busy city!!! Please note - If you value a very modern venue then this would not be the place for you, it is in need of renovation, and there are very steep steps should you have serious mobility problems. But these disadvantages are outweighed by the many positives for this property.

Beautiful spot, great hospitality

We enjoyed staying here, the deck is amazing with access to swim in the sea! Alfredo went above and beyond when we left a passport behind and helpful in other ways as well. Highly recommend!

Vreselijk huis op een prachtige plek

Dit huis staat op een super locatie met een te gek uitzicht. .....maar dat is helaas ook alles. Het huis is vreselijk oud, vies en echt niet goed bij gehouden. Daarbij kun je het toilet niet gebruiken zoals je zou willen als Nederlander en is er een douche van niks en bedden met Matrassen die echt op zijn! Heel jammer!!!

Lovely villa with 180 degree sea view

This villa was amazing. The rooms are a decent size (2 bedrooms share 1 bathroom) with good closet space and aircon. Very nice living space leading into a fabulous, big terrace. The kitchen is on the smaller side but that did not bother us. There is lots of space to sit outside in the shade or lounge in the sun. The villa has direct access to the ocean which we used daily (on one occasion the sea was a bit too rough to go in, but rest of week was great). The villa is on a busy road - not noisy as house is further down, but quite a lot of traffic. Street parking was good. Proximity to Palermo and Mondello beach was good (would recommend a car). Grocery story about 8 mins drive away. Some restuarants on same street (we did not try them). The highlight is the terrace, the view and the direct access to the ocean to go for a swim.

Run down villa with nice view

House was mould and dirty. Pictures in Vrbo don‘t reflect the run down condition of the villa. No opportunity to have a swim in the sea without injuries all over the body, while getting our of the water in stormy wheather. No Staues into the des. Almost no noice although next to the main road. Not recomended.
