「This was a fantastic place to stay in Sicily: Not only did it have a pool that we used constantly during the heat wave, but it's also a few minutes' walk from the beach, has AC, and has beautiful views of the island. Palermo is an easy bus ride away, and there are fantastic restaurants nearby. I would particularly like to call out the hotel staff for being immensely helpful. 「Excellent location, very clean and tidy. The only thing I found difficult was not having a key to the room or hotel..an electronic code is required to enter the room and you use an internet connection to open the door to the lobby. If you don't have a smart phone it is problematic, especially if you have no internet connection. The hotel was excellent apart from this.」

「The front desk did not relay a lot of information when we got to the hotel. We did not know to make a reservation at soon as we got there. Not a good description of how to access lunch, and was not told needed swim caps for pool. This could be the custom, but we are not used to it and so we didn’t know.」
