Lovely quiet hotel in a beautiful area. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We loved Mondello, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Palermo but stay in a quiet area.

Family run traditional older style hotel. Lovely from start of our visit till we checked out. All the staff were polite, helpful and available when you needed them for advice or local info. WiFi worked well, pool was good with a guy on duty all day for drinks etc. Would definitely stay again

The staff of this hotel is amazing, you couldn’t ask for anything better informed personable therefore you all the time the location is incredible. Close to the beach extremely clean. I wouldn’t change a thing perfect for a vacation in Sicily.

The hotel is close to the beach, and everything is easily accessible, with signs along the way. The staff are very friendly. The pool area is a great retreat when the beach is crowded, and the breakfast is basic but tasty.

Amazing staff! They did the stay worth it in this retro style hotel from the 70-80’s. Nice location, free parking, pool was great, balcony BIG, love that, but the hotel needs an upgrade. But if you don’t mind some scratches and good old days style of hotel you will be ok! Breakfast needs a lot of love to gain some attraction.

The staff at this hotel are amazing, all of them: receptionists, cleaning ladies, restaurant staff, pool staff and caretakers. They are helpful, efficient and just lovely people. The room was clean, spacious and had all we needed. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. There is plenty on site parking and the beach is few blocks away. There are very good restaurants, ice-cream and supermarket nearby. The beach itself was like a huge swimming pool with clear blue/green water. There is also a transfer from near the hotel to the airport that cost only €6/person. If I return to Sicily, I'll definitely stay at the Conchiglia D'Oro again.

This is an older hotel with older furnishings. The hotel and room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were all professional and accommodating. Still, I would suggest using the in room safe as I had a precious necklace of great sentimental value go missing. I did email the hotel the same day of check out to see if they had found my necklace, but it was gone.

Hotel is a typical Italian hotel. Room smallest I have ever stayed in but decent enough. Unable to use wardrobe as not enough space to open comfortably. Need smaller furniture, although in good condition. Balcony great to take in the last of days sun and look at views. Reception staff very helpful especially James he was above and beyond. Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber die Einrichtung ist nicht das modernste. Dafür hatten wir ein Superior Zimmer mit fantastischen großen Balkon mit Wäscheleine und einen kleinen Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück war ok, aber nicht hervorragend. Die Basics sind vorrätig. Dafür ist die Lage perfekt zum Strand. Circa 10 Minuten entfernt. Kleiner Tipp: Man kann sich auch die Sonnenschirme dort ausleihen. Der Swimmingpool war zu unserer Zeit im Juni zum Glück nicht überfüllt und es gab auch genug freie Sitze und Liegen. Das hat mich positiv überrascht. Übrigens gibt es einen Shuttle Bus zum Flughafen. Der ist mit Koffer circa 10 Minuten entfernt.
