We stayed for one night to get away and it was perfect. Despite the slight winds and chilly weather, the pool was perfectly heated. Loved the proximity to the main street shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again for a longer stay.

Really disappointed, not worth the money. 1. Was called the day before and asked what time we were arriving so that they could prioritize our room, which I thought was really great. Standard check-in was 4. We arrived at 2 and thought we would check to see if our room was ready. There was a sign on the hotel lobby door that we had to go to the lobby of the sister property next door. We did and were told that there normally would be someone at the lobby during business hours...during our 2.5 day stay, we saw someone manning the lobby desk once. We were then told our room wasn't ready, but that they would call us as soon as it was. We didn't hear from the hotel that our room was ready until 4:45 -- 45 minutes after standard check in. 2. Property -- we had a staff member walk us to o4ur room, which was the Desert Oasis. When we got into the courtyard, the pool was empty on a 98° day. It badly needed to be skimmed. Our room was under a staircase, and the chair outside was piled with dirty rags and used cleaning supplies. 3. Room -- smelled like chemicals and must as soon as we walked in, we had to open the door on a scorching day just to air it out. Chipped and old paint, dirty walls. Bathroom was dirty, cramped and covered in prior guest's hair clippings. The lights flickered, the sound of the lobby door slamming was so loud at night. Patio was dirty and furniture literally in shreds. Bed not comfortable and squeaky. Only plus was that the AC was very strong.

Room was large but bathroom small. Ok sound-proofing. We ran out of hot water one day not sure what that was about. Had a great view! The area was quiet and safe but close to the main street action. The free breakfast was in the hotel next store. The limited hours of the front desk was drawback but the sister hotel was available to assist.

The staff was great. We had a nice quite stay. The rooms were very clean kitchen had a toaster which was very nice for breakfast. The pool was amazing perfect temperature.

Staff are super friendly, level of service was lacking. We were told that there would be a reception staff member in reception for busienss hours. We saw someone there for 2 hrs total our entire trip. No plaquard in our room to designate if we wanted service or not. We did want it and did not recieve it for half our stay. We were told there would be coffee in our lobby AND in the Selena Villas for continental breakfast. There was never coffee in our lobby. Continental breakfast was yogurt, granola, berries, dates and 2 types of pastries. Half our stay the coffee at breakfast was not avaliable (only 25 mins after the start of breakfast). And breakfast would frequently be out of the severely limited options that WERE offered. The MOST unfortunate experience that we experienced at breakfast was when the staff member wiped down the counter next to the granola with their bare hands and dumped it BACK INTO THE granola container for the next guest to use. In the pool area there was no where to deposit used towels and they would routinely be left for over 24 hrs in piles. Really like the area, the actual hotel is super charming, but service was very disappointing.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, HAD THE PLEASURE FO STAYING IN THE JULIUS ROOM ABOVE THE LOBBY, OVERSEEING THE POOL AREA. A NICELY HEATED POOL PROVIDED A NICE TREAT FOR THE EARLY EVENING. THE ROOM WAS NICELY CLEANED AND PERFECT SIZE WITH ITS BEAUTIFUL LARGE WINDOWS. THIS COZY STAY IS NESTLED A BLOCK AWAY FROM THE BUSIER STREET AND CONVENIENTLY CLOSE TO MANY PLACES TO WALK TO IF YOU NEED ANYTHING. IT WAS A GREAT HUB, AND WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN. THE SHOWER DID TAKE A MINUTE TO WARM UP, BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS THE PERFECT TEMPERATURE WITH ITS AIR CONDITIONER AND COMFORTABLE BED.
