This small boutique hotel has an unbeatable location and the room was unexpectedly large with a kitchenette. The pool crowd was mellow without loud music which was great. Despite the $500/night room rate though, this is definitely a no-frills 3 star hotel. There were not enough lounge chairs at the pool for all the guests. There was pool service on Sat but not on Sun. We had to manually replace the flapper in the toilet tank with every flush. We enjoyed our stay overall, but given the price, this property could use some love.

All of the staff including housekeeping and maintenance were most helpful. A few tips needed for the room using fire pit and bathtub and were given instructions and addressed immediately. The property is a relaxing option while traveling through Palm Springs.

While the first night and morning we had to go to the sister property next door to register and get bikes, following mornings the hotel was better staffed to meet our early bird needs. Pool was fabulous. Bathroom was tiny, but I think we had the smallest, least expensive room. Staff was always friendly and helpful, and the location was unbeatable!

I found the Del Marco disappointing and I would not recommend it. The room I stayed in was tired, blah and had no real vibe. The front desk is closed after 5PM and the morning food is really lame. Bad muffins and yoplait. The best thing is you can walk to anywhere which is convenient. Over priced and boring.

Ridiculously high priced for $700/night plus a $40 hotel “resort” fee? Dated bathroom and moldy grout. Yogurt cup and store bought muffins for breakfast. For this price, I’d expect updated bathrooms and, at a minimum, full breakfast and a bottle of Champagne in the room. Motel 6 can do better.

This property was in a great location! Dinner at the hotel next door was great. Never met or saw any staff so couldn’t rate those interactions. Could use more lighting at night at the entrance and on the stairs.

The good: Location is amazing. Walkable to shopping, restaurants, and bars. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Pool area beautiful. The disappointing: booked a higher end room with a Mountain View. Lots of maintenance needed. Bucket under kitchenette sink to catch water leak, gaps in flooring, light fixture needs reattached, hole in bathroom door where towel hook was once attached, etc. Expected better for the money. Also very low service level. No one on property before 7:30 or after 5:30.

Loved the character and historical charm. The pool area was lovely and peaceful. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Mariah! It was close to everywhere we had reservations for etc. Unfortunately, Our room faced the street and there was drag racing going on Friday night. I would definitely stay here again but I would get a room that doesn't face the street.

We have stayed at the Del Marcos Hotel since 2018. Our last stay was October 2023. The hotel is under new ownership; sadly, it has lost its personable boutique hotel feeling. The staff doesn't appear to be as engaged as they were, room was dirty, the continental breakfast presentation was that from a holiday express. unlike the time the owner would be in the lobby greeting you and offering coffee with personalized ceramic mugs. It made you feel welcomed and special. Definitely worth the value index .. now ..it is just another boutique hotel. People smoking pot in their rooms, music is different. Lobby is unattended until 9:00 a.m. For anyone that had never visited the hotel before the acquisition will never know the difference .. Not sure if we will be going back.

Fantastic rooms! The location was fantastic. The retro kitchen😍! check-inn is disappointing as one must go next door to do so (three properties-one checkin). Very nice personal- but a note must be made as guests must be 21…. my daughter barely made the cut by months! My only complaint- noise… late evening and again in morning. My daughter was smart and brought earmuffs! Very nice place overall.

We felt this was an overpriced motel. They charge a $39 “resort fee”, I think primarily for the pool because there is not much else. We stayed a night in their “deluxe studio sweet” which had very old kitchen appliances and a bathroom fan that sounded like it was dying whenever it was turned on. It is a decent place to stay, but not for the price

The location is excellent. The units are sparcely furnished and the bathrooms are tight. The "resort fee" was a surprise. The staff was very helpful and moved us to a larger unit without an upgrade charge.

Really Loved this Place. My wife Booked it again for June. Very clean, Excellent staff. I love that it is nice and Quiet. When you stay at this place you have access to the sister property that is next door. In total you have access to 3 properties that is all beside each other. If I am able to give 10 stars I would. Definitely be back again.

One of the best hosts my husband and I experienced. We were there on our honeymoon. The staff provided extra accommodations for us. The grounds are meticulously maintained, the decor is tasteful, the furniture is comfortable, the happy hour is interesting and delicious. Expected a lot more
The hotel’s midcentury architecture is what drew me there. I arrived at 7pm and the front office was already closed. I had to walk my belongings to the hotel next door to check in. Normally that’s not a big deal, but with luggage, it’s inconvenient. The pool area was great! We enjoyed sitting at a fire pit with a glass of wine. It was fairly quiet and well lit. The room looked nice upon first glance. The drain in the bathroom sink was broken. The bed was uncomfortable. There’s no insulation between the walls and we heard every move our neighbors made. The blinds failed to keep the lights from the pool out of the room. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep. There were mosquitos in the room and I woke up to a bite on my face. This hotel was designed well but not built well and it hasn’t been kept up with. It’s not worth the $135/night we paid, and certainly not worth the $300+ they ask during holidays. Look elsewhere.
